🏛️ The EDCR returns for its 9th edition, putting the critical, highly specialised work of conservator-restorers firmly in the spotlight. We are the frontline of cultural preservation. By applying rigorous science and profound responsibility, we rescue, stabilise, and interpret the physical evidence of our collective past. From mastering digital transformations to adapting to climate change, our profession is actively defending the heritage of tomorrow.
📱 Each day of the EDCR features a dedicated theme to highlight the many facets of our profession. While local events, workshops, and open days take place across Europe, the digital stage is yours. We invite you to join the conversation: create your own posts in response to our daily themes, share your insights in the comments, and connect with peers online to show the public what it truly means to be a conservator-restorer today.
📢 How to participate and get shared by E.C.C.O.: We want to amplify your voice! To ensure your contributions reach the widest possible audience, the most important step is to tag E.C.C.O. directly in your posts. We will be actively monitoring our tags and will share every single post that tags us across our own networks.
🤝 We call on our entire community to unite for this initiative. This year, we are also proud to partner with Encore - European Network for Conservation-Restoration Education, Michael Culture Association and in bringing the EDCR to an even wider community. By sharing our daily realities, we can demonstrate the vital necessity of professional conservation. The stage is yours—let’s make our invisible work visible to the world.
