👉 Our life is based on the use of the resources that our environment offers us. Devoid of self-interest, the Foundation financially supports incentive and stimulus projects or organizations. All independent projects are developed in such a way that, after initial funding and early promotion, t

hey are self-sustaining and no longer require outside help. The exchange and transfer of knowledge and know-how are its central tasks. The Panterito Foundation promotes and facilitates exchange between different cultural circles and international projects. Through access to nature and educational initiatives children and young people will have equal footing/find common ground. Nature and educational initiatives will connect children and young people with knowledge. Scholarships may be awarded in connection with the nature of the project.

🌱 Panterito Foundation becomes maintainer of OpenTree Format

We’re pleased to announce that Panterito Foundation is now the official maintainer of OpenTreeFormat — an open, lightweight standard that helps organise and share tree data in a clear and consistent way.

As maintainer, Panterito will support the long-term development of the format, ensure open and transparent governance, and work with partners to strengthen its use across reforestation and monitoring projects.

OpenTreeFormat also serves as the foundation for systems like OpenTree ID, enabling tree information to move easily between tools, platforms, and organisations.
