This November, join ESAVS Ultrasonography Introduction for a hands‑on, newcomer‑friendly course designed specifically for small animal veterinarians.

• Basic ultrasound physics and machine settings
• Systematic abdominal scanning techniques

We are very excited to announce that the new round of Dentistry in China begins in 2026 with Dentistry 1: Introduction to Dentistry, Diagnostics & Extractions. The course registration is now open!

Together with our world renowned course masters Dr. Jerzy Gawor and Dr. Cedric Tutt, you will learn starting from diagnosing in small animal dentistry, clinical and radiographic assessment of oral and dental structures, to using and filling-in dental charts for dogs and cats. This course will also focus on the importance of radiography, exposing and interpreting intraoral radiographs.

This course focuses on the basic principles of surgery, tissue handling, knotting techniques and general abdominal and gastro-intestinal surgery.

The course will be led by diplomates of European Veterinary Colleges: Univ. Prof. Dr. Gilles Dupré and Dr. Bart Van Goethem.

🔬 At the end of the course, participants 1) shall be able to apply atraumatic surgery principles on all occasions,

ESAVS Cardiology III is an intensive, practice‑focused course taking place 7–11 December 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, designed for veterinarians who want to perform high‑quality diagnostic echocardiographic examinations in small animals.

🔍 At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:
1. Discuss, identify and perform a complete diagnostic study from the right and left hemithorax.
2. Measure 2D, M-mode and Doppler echocardiograms to quantify cardiac size and function.
3. Compare and contrast the usefulness of 2D and M-mode Echocardiography, and of PW, CW and color Doppler.
4. Recognize clinical uses of Doppler for estimation of intravascular pressures.
5. Describe a complete Doppler examination and obtain Doppler-derived flow signals from the heart and great vessels.
6. Discuss the use of echo and Doppler in the recognition, staging and management of conge***al and acquired heart disease.
7. Describe the typical imaging and Doppler echocardiographic findings of common acquired and conge***al heart diseases.
