Two weeks in the forest with a small group, two teachers, and a frog that doesn’t negotiate. That’s more or less what you’re signing up for.

Our seminar house sits in the middle of the forest north of Berlin – lessons and treatments happen outdoors, under old trees, in all weather that isn’t actual rain. This is the 5th time we’re running this course. It’s known for its international groups and the kind of intensity that comes naturally when you spend 14 consecutive days in the same place with the same people – which, honestly, is part of what you’re there to learn.

Dates: 29 July – 12 August 2026 Location: Klobbicke, near Berlin Language: English · German support Teachers: Alan Schechner & Martina Diehn

In April 2026, we return to the Peruvian Amazon for a complete Kambo practitioner training.
This is not a retreat.
It’s an in-depth immersion into Kambo, its context, its safety, and its responsibility.
We will walk the jungle at night with a Matsés elder, listening for Kambo frogs and learning how secretion is traditionally collected.
We’ll study Kambo deeply, including contraindications, physiology, and practitioner ethics.
You’ll also learn how Sananga is prepared, step by step.
We stay in a comfortable lodge in the Amazon, surrounded by jungle sounds and Kambo frogs at night.

Acaté recently shared nearly 700 exquisite watercolor paintings by Matsés indigenous artist Guillermo Nëcca Pëmen Mënquë showcasing the incredible biodiversity of the Amazon Rainforest!
