Introducing the platform that fables collective mania into sound:

✹ 𝗧𝗟𝗖𝟮𝟯 is the collaborative platform initiated by Artists Katie Shannon and Keira Fox ,they explore themes around collective trauma, mania, panic and unravelling personas, within a distinctly feminist impulse.

The collective is rooted in experimental music of the darker ilk, which often plays an integral part of TLC23 happenings and offerings. The project exists at the intersection of music, visual art, and performance, creating curated spaces, collaborating with other artists, musicians and makers, within blurred line environments and often specific to their locations.

Introducing the artist who tells the fable a wig keeps secret:

✹ 𝗥𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝘂ñ𝗼𝘇 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘀 (1990, Costa Rica) is an artist based in Mexico City working across painting, sculpture, installation, video, drawing, and performance. His practice constructs objects, images, and environments in which the domestic, institutional, and grotesque contaminate one another, using hybridizations, collisions, and material displacements to explore authority, class, desire, shame, social aspiration, failure, belonging, and the everyday rituals through which power is rehearsed and reproduced. Often beginning with banal or apparently ridiculous elements such as wigs, lockers, palm trees, funeral furniture, uniforms, popular decoration, domestic crafts, television references, and damaged bodies, his work turns familiar forms into unstable carriers of memory, humiliation, fantasy, violence, and contradiction.

Muñoz Rivas has presented solo exhibitions at St. Chads and Des Bains Gallery in London; General Expenses and Ladrón Galería in Mexico City; Más Allá in Bogotá; and the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design in San José. He received the LISTE Art Fair Production Award in 2024, completed residencies at La Nueva Fábrica and Gasworks, and has co-curated exhibitions including The Joy of Living at Casa Mauad and Arte de Zorras at General Expenses.

Introducing the artist who lets lace hold the shape of a story:

✹ 𝗝𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘆𝗶 𝗟𝗶 (b. 1999, Beijing, China) is a London based interdisciplinary artist working across textiles, fibre, and sculptural forms. She graduated with a BA in Craft Arts (Fibre) from Tsinghua University before completing an MFA in Jewellery and Metal at the Royal College of Art, London. Li’s practice explores feminist narratives, intimacy, and the cultural meanings embedded in domestic materials, often transforming textiles and soft forms into tactile sculptural works. Her work has been exhibited internationally across the UK and Europe, including presentations in London, the Netherlands, France, and Spain, and she has been selected for residencies including the Sarabande Foundation. Li is currently pursuing a PhD in Anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London, where her research focuses on craft theory, material culture, and the social life of objects.

Introducing the artist who stages the joke power plays on us:

✹ 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹 (b. 1984, Sweden) is an artist and filmmaker based in Amsterdam. Her work explores how violence and social hierarchies shape everyday life. Using humor, she stages fragile, absurd situations in which characters struggle to navigate contemporary systems and their impossible demands. Storytelling is central to her practice, which often unfolds through participatory processes and collaborative encounters.
Josefin has an MA from Sandberg Institute, Amsterdam (2024); She was a resident at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten (2015-16); won the Theodora Niemeijer Prize for emerging female artists in the Netherlands (2018); and was nominated for the Prix de Rome, Netherlands (2023). Her work has been shown at Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; WIELS, Brussels; Cell Project Space, London; Index, Stockholm; UKS, Oslo; Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven; Frac Normandie; Sissi Club, Marsielle; Athens Biennale; Auto Italia, London;
Kunsthalle Münster; Nordic House, Reykjavik; Rencontres Internationales, Paris/Berlin; Riga International Film Festival; and IDFA International Documentary Film Festival, Amsterdam.
