One week from today, our family will begin a journey into something that stretches us—body, heart, and faith.

We’ll be joining Milal Brückenzeit, a special camp where people with and without disabilities come together to live, laugh, and grow in understanding.

🌍 The Global 6K was a success! 🎉💧

On Saturday, we were one of many teams around the world who joined more than 20,798 world-changers to help equip over 34,700 people with life-changing access to clean water... and counting! 🚶🏽‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️💦

What an honor to be part of something so meaningful. THANK YOU to everyone who ran, walked, gave, and cheered us on! 🙌

We did it! 🌍🏃‍♀️💧
Today, we completed our very first Global 6K for Water — and to sum it up in one word: wonderful!

Yes, participation was smaller than we’d hoped for, but every single person who joined was so precious. We had fun, shared good energy, and most importantly — we were united by a meaningful cause.

The weather wasn’t perfect, but the route brought healing. And guess what? It didn’t rain until everyone had crossed the finish line. 🙌

And even though we didn’t expect any donations during the event… something beautiful happened:
Generous strangers in Stadtpark Steglitz came up to us and donated — without being asked. 💛
Thanks to them, we’re now at $1,810, just shy of our $2,000 goal!

Thank you to all who walked, ran, gave, prayed, or cheered us on. This is just the beginning.

🎉 We Did It... Kind Of 😉💧

We set a goal: 20+ participants for our Global 6K for Water.
And guess what? 25 people have signed up! 💛

But here’s the honest truth:
Every single one of them came through us.
No viral post. No unexpected flood of interest.
Just friends and family who said yes because we asked.

We’re grateful. Truly. 🙏
But we also feel a tiny bit of that “we kind of cheated” feeling.
It wasn’t the broad reach we hoped for—but it’s a reminder and our true hope that: even small circles will have an impact.

This year, our whole family is stepping into something that both excites and humbles us.

As part of Live to Give, we will be participating in Milal Brückenzeit—a special camp where people with and without disabilities come together to share life, build friendships, and grow in understanding. (https://www.milal-kiel.de/bruckenfreizeit2025/)

We have deep respect for the emotional and physical challenges that come with this experience. But we also believe that God will use us, stretch us, and teach us something profound about love, service, and inclusion.

💌 100 hearts, 100 handwritten cards, 100 Easter wishes.
This Easter, we participated in Post mit Herz — a beautiful initiative that brings joy and connection through simple, handwritten messages.
Together, we sent 100 cards to the Wohn- und Pflegezentrum residents in Warthausen, reminding them that they are seen, loved, and never forgotten. 🌸🐣
Sometimes, kindness is as simple as a pen, paper, and a little time.
Let’s keep giving forward — one message of love at a time. 💕
