Art is just as important as tech!

Feel Free To Write {FF2WRITE}, our creative writing and storytelling seminar organised by the team and led by , depicts a part of the "A" of STEAM education we stand for.

To build confident innovators, we must also nurture their voices. addresses the emotional and narrative side of empowerment, giving the girls a safe space to express their identities, challenge harmful narratives, build confidence, and use words as tools for social advocacy and change.

Their journey doesn't end here. In April, during the school break, these champions will enter our exclusive Post-Seminar Mentorship Program led by the team to further hone their craft.

When 50 brilliant minds gather in one room, magic happens! ✨

We are still buzzing from the energy at the just-concluded "Feel Free To Write {FF2WRITE 2.0}" seminar. We challenged about 50 girls at (Elewura campus) to rethink writing as a superpower for self-expression and confidence-building.

Spearheaded by our amazing ambassador, , the interactive session helped these students unlock their authentic voices, express their creativity, and, most importantly, understand exactly how AI can and cannot be used in the writing process.

A massive thank you to the ICAST Schools administration for inviting us to host the second edition at this branch, our resilient volunteers who seamlessly managed the event, our generous sponsors, and everyone who helped bring this scaled-up vision to life.

For the second time in Ibadan, Oyo State, did it again! 🎉

The first edition of our "Feel Free To Write {FF2WRITE}" seminar happened in July 2025 at , Elebu campus. The girls clamoured for another session, and we listened.

Together with the invitation of the school, the team led by our ambassador, , hosted the second edition of the seminar at , Elewura campus.

This time, we scaled up to empower about 50 female students from the initial 30 to unlock their creative voices, build confidence in self-expression, and learn how to safely navigate AI in writing ✍🏽🤖.

Research shows the climate crisis often deepens existing gender inequalities – but it also highlights the power of inclusive solutions. That’s why initiatives like Project Ayika, founded by Falling Walls Engage Pitches 2025 Finalist Eunice Adewusi, are so important. The project empowers young African women with climate tech skills to help build a just and climate-resilient future.

The Falling Walls Global Call 2026 is open now and looking for high-impact science engagement projects driving climate mitigation or adaptation.
