We are proud to announce that Mostafa Abbas, President of the Euro-Med Youth Federation, has been invited as a speaker at the security and civil society international conference:
“Discovering the Impact and Effectiveness of Development Aid on European Security in Times of Turbulence”
taking place 4–7 December 2025 in Toila, Estonia.

Mostafa will join the key session:
Community Debates – “The Role of CSOs and Youth in Fostering Effective Development Co-operation and Community Change.”

In a time marked by rising political instability and global uncertainty, youth and civil society organizations are essential actors in strengthening community resilience and driving positive social change. Their engagement promotes democratic values, social justice, and the protection of fundamental freedoms—ensuring that development efforts remain people-centred, participatory, and sustainable.

We congratulate our president on representing our network internationally and look forward to sharing the outcomes of this important dialogue.

🌍 Mr. Mostafa Abbas, President of the Euro-Med Youth Federation, member of the Steering Committee of the CSO–LA Global Gateway, and European Climate Pact Ambassador, will participate in the Global Gateway Forum 2025 (9–10 October, Brussels).

He has been invited as one of only 15 international experts to contribute to the high-level sessions held alongside Heads of State, Government leaders, and senior representatives of the European Union and partner countries.

Mr. Abbas has also received a special invitation to the High-Level Dinner hosted by EU Commissioner Jozef Síkela at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, a recognition of his international standing and of the importance of youth, civil society, and climate voices in shaping the future of the Global Gateway strategy.

Through his role, Mr. Abbas continues to emphasize the central contribution of civil society, youth networks, and climate action in advancing sustainable connectivity, digital and green transitions, and inclusive global partnerships.

🌏✨ One of the highlights of the Bootcamp in Berlin at Euro-Med Youth Federation e. V. (1–5 Sept 2025) was the intercultural evening.

🥘🍹 Participants shared food, drinks, and traditions from their home countries, turning the session into a true celebration of diversity.

💬 Beyond tasting new flavors, it was about building friendships, exchanging cultures, and showing how dialogue and respect are key to achieving the SDGs.

🌍✨ The Bootcamp in Berlin at Euro-Med Youth Federation e. V. (1–5 Sept 2025) gave participants the chance to go beyond the workshop rooms!

🚶‍♀️ They explored local initiatives bringing the SDGs to life, exchanged best practices with changemakers, and discovered Berlin’s most iconic spots through a sustainability lens.

📸 These study visits and cultural tours made the Bootcamp an unforgettable experience.

💡🌱 During the Bootcamp in Berlin at Euro-Med Youth Federation e. V. (1–5 Sept 2025), youth participants took part in 3 days of immersive workshops covering all 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

🎨 From storytelling and gamified SDG challenges to hands-on labs in urban gardening, renewable energy, and circular economy, the Bootcamp turned learning into action.

🤝 Together, they built solutions for a more sustainable future!

Last weekend was an excellent opportunity for 15 young people from different EU countries to meet and discuss point 7 of the EU Youth Goals. 👀

Indeed, when talking about Quality Employment for All, it is important to listen to the opinion of young people and to understand their difficulties and thoughts. 🤔

The three-day meeting saw all the participants come together first with workshops by Nadia Paraschou, who gave them the opportunity to discover their desires and ambitions, as well as their fears, through art and play. They immediately felt a strong connection with each other. ✨

The last sessions, on the other hand, were mostly devoted to the exchange of ideas, simulations of European policy making, but also solutions to problems in the world of work. 🚀
