Georgian Wine Bridge

Georgian Wine Bridge In our project "Georgian Wine Bridge" the diverse aspects of Georgian Wine as a cultural asset, will be illustrated in a documentary. English version below.

We are a seven member and interdisciplinary orientated project team of the Master´s program, Eastern Europe Studies, at the Freie Universität Berlin. In a documentary we want to look at the diverse aspects of Georgian Wine as a cultural asset, for example the traditional way to make wine in Kvevris. Beside that we want to show the economic situation of the often smaller family winegrowers, as well as the modern developement of Georgia as such. With that an "Wine Bridge" is built and the excellent Georgian Wine vis a vis the thousands of years old culture promoted in Germany.
