The European Youth Parliament (EYP) is a unique educational programme which brings together young people from all over Europe to discuss current topics in a parliamentary setting. As a network of independent associations, EYP is present in 40 European countries and organises almost 600 events every year. The EYP network involves close to 35,000 participants on a yearly basis. Thousands of young pe

ople are active as volunteers all over Europe, making EYP a programme truly for young people, by young people. The European Youth Parliament’s mission is to inspire and empower young Europeans to become open-minded, tolerant and active citizens.

Tune in for tomorrow’s online workshop! 🌟 Olena Yermakova, who works as a Partnerships Liaison for Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, will talk to us about how to communicate about conflict in context of the ongoing full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine.

🇺🇦 This online workshop is part of EYP Rebuild Ukraine Story Lab, which is a series of free online talks with EYP Alumni experts designed to help young people understand the current situation in Ukraine and the outlook for the nation’s reconstruction.

🔵 The EYP office, also known as the EYP International Office (IO), works to support and coordinate the activities of the whole network. The IO team includes project managers, long-term volunteers and assistants led by the EYP Executive Director.

🌊 The EYP Summer Academy 2026 is just one week away! Meet the volunteers behind the event. 💙

🟡 The Training Team, led by Katie, will host modules on how to lead and improve the organisations within our network. The Media Team, guided by fellow Katie, will capture all the special moments from the event and share it with you here! The Organising Team, led by Mariela and Joanna, will make sure all the logistics behind the Summer Academy run smooth, and finally, Emil and L from the Safe Team will work to make every participant feel safe and welcome. 💫

Welcome to the recap of the Uzhhorod National Selection Conference 2026🩷

Take a glimpse into the warmest moments of our event!

This year’s theme was: «No Development Without Security: Economic Integration, Innovation & Trust – Supporting SMEs and Tech-Driven Recovery». Small and medium-sized businesses are the backbone of Ukraine’s economy, and their recovery tests whether our institutions actually hold up. Can a founder plan ahead when their assets could be seized tomorrow? Can a business go digital while under a cyber-attack? These aren’t distant policy debates – they’re the conditions shaping Ukraine right now.

🟣 FUSION 2026 has officially come to an end!
The final days of the 105th International Session of the European Youth Parliament brought the session to a close with a mix of culture, learning, debate and celebration.

🇷🇸 Culture Day gave participants the chance to experience a little more of Serbia, with a visit to Petrovaradin Fortress 🏰, a knitting workshop 🧶 and a Serbian folklore workshop 💃 - creating space to discover, share and connect beyond the committee room.

The final day of Committee Work brought one last opportunity to develop ideas and challenge perspectives, with the Skills Lab featuring experts who joined committees to share their knowledge and offer new perspectives on the topics at hand 💬

Then came two days of General Assembly, where participants presented their resolutions, debated ideas and worked together to shape their final proposals.

And alongside the academic programme, there was plenty to celebrate. EYP Serbia marked its 20th anniversary with a special Gala evening 🎂, bringing together generations of members, volunteers and friends of the organisation. The session then came to a close with the Closing Ceremony, marking the end of FUSION and the many conversations, connections and memories created along the way.

Thank you to everyone who made FUSION possible - from the participants and officials to the volunteers, guests, experts and everyone who contributed to these unforgettable days.

📸 The Media Academy+ is looking for Participants!

🎓 Media Academy+ is a 6-day EYF Study Session taking place at the European Youth Centre in Budapest, bringing together 40+ young people for a deep-dive into digital citizenship, media literacy, and AI awareness.

Focusing on today’s evolving media landscape, the event will explore challenges such as AI-generated content, disinformation, and the protection of democratic values, while empowering participants to think critically and create their own media projects. 💡

🟣 FUSION has been in full swing, bringing together ideas, perspectives and experiences from all across Europe.

🇷🇸 Over the past few days, participants have been navigating through some of the key moments of the 105th International Session of the European Youth Parliament. The Opening Ceremony officially set the stage, bringing participants, officials and guests together and introducing the ideas and themes that would shape the days ahead.

💡 During Committee Work, committees came together to explore their topics, identify key challenges and start developing their resolutions. In between, the Panel Debate opened the floor to different perspectives, encouraging participants to engage on the impact of energy transition and transportation in centralisation.

✨ After another round of Committee Work and plenty of ideas exchanged, Serbian Night brought everyone together for an evening music and celebration, offering a chance to experience a little more of what Serbia has to share.

🫂 From focused discussions to new perspectives and shared traditions, FUSION continues to bring people together both inside and outside the committee room.

🟣 From new faces to new friendships, FUSION is officially underway!
Over the past few days, participants from across Europe have gathered in Niš and Novi Sad to kick off the 105th International Session of the European Youth Parliament.

✨ From meeting the teams behind the session to exploring the city together, the first days of FUSION have been all about coming together, making connections and getting ready for what lies ahead.

🫂 Teambuilding brought committees together for the first time, filling the days with games, conversations and plenty of new connections. And now, the first ideas are being shared, perspectives are meeting, and FUSION is truly coming to life.

💭 The journey has begun. Now, let’s see where it takes us.
