We invite you to a safe and vibrant space to explore the magic of Balady dance as a practice that deepens our connection to our bodies, revives our natural femininity, and celebrates freedom, grace, and selfawareness.
This workshop is open to all levels, combining joy and learning through smart, body based exercises that help you move with confidence, awareness, and pleasure free from judgment or comparison.
Oriental dance is not just movement; it’s a language of the body that allows us to feel, express, and reconnect with ourselves as women.
✨ About Sherin
Sherin Hegazy is an Egyptian dance trainer, choreographer, and performer specializing in Oriental (Balady) and Contemporary Dance.
She began dancing in 1999 and has trained and performed internationally.
Sherin is the founder and artistic director of Awalem Khafeya Dance Company, where she explores Egyptian identity through movement.
She is known for empowering women through dance by connecting technique, musicality, and emotional expression.

في الورشة، بندعوكي لمساحة آمنة ومليانة طاقة، نمارس فيها سوا سحر الرقص البلدي المصري كفنّ، وكأداة بتقوّي علاقتنا بأجسامنا، وبتحيي إحساسنا بالأنوثة بطريقة طبيعية، حرّة، وراقية.
الورشة مصممة لكل المستويات، وبتجمع بين المتعة والتعلُّم.
هنشتغل فيها على تقنيات الرقص الشرقي من خلال تمارين ذكية بتساعدنا نفهم جسمنا أكتر, إزاي نتحرك بيه، ونستمتع بيه، من غير حكم أو مقارنة.
الرقص الشرقي مش بس خطوات، هو لغة جسدية بتخلينا نحس، نعبّر، ونرجّع اتصالنا بنفسنا كستات.
✨ عن المُدرّبة:
شيرين حجازي مدربة، مصممة رقص، ومؤدية مصرية متخصصة في الرقص الشرقي (البلدي) والرقص المعاصر. بدأت رحلتها في الرقص عام 1999، وتدرّبت وقدّمت عروضًا في بلدان مختلفة حول العالم.
شيرين هي مؤسسة ومديرة فرقة عوالم خفية للرقص، التي تستكشف من خلالها الهوية المصرية عبر الحركة.
تشتهر شيرين بتمكين النساء من خلال الرقص، عبر الدمج بين التقنية، والإيقاع الموسيقي، والتعبير العاطفي الصادق
