Continuing with our recap… On occasion, an everyday object is described as a “work of art”, connotating some kind of greater significance. In the case of our boat, when approaching top speed, it was loudly clear that this was much more than art, producing a greater sensation than what art rarely delivers. First of all, it didn’t fall apart. Inside the cabin, passengers calmly played a board game, while on the outside, a party erupted as we approached 18 knots. We even earned our first speeding ticket and safely moored alongside the police boat. It continues to be a learning experience.
