The BigShoe® stands for a worldwide growing network of sports stars and fans, helping poor children The Togo national team was based in Wangen im Allgäu.

Together with a large fooball shoe (BigShoe) as a unique symbol, many footfallfans worldwide help poor children with medical operations. It began with the “Sommermärchen” during the World Cup 2006 in Germany. When the citizens of Wangen im Allgäu heard about Nourisson from Togo who was born with a cleft and urgently required an operation, they began collecting money to help pay for the medical requirements. And so began the great idea and story of BigShoe. BigShoe won the “World-Cup-Bambi 2006” Television Prize, awarded by Hubert Burda Media. BigShoe keeps walking and together with the WC 2010 (South Africa), WC 2014 (Brazil) and EC 2012 (Ucraine and Poland) and EC 2016 (France) many more needy children got medical operations worldwide….

Together for children ❤️

Bukayo Saka and Antonio Rüdiger have teamed up with BigShoe to support BigShoe projects and positively impact more than 3,000 lives. Their donations have enabled 100 children from Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Kenya and Tanzania to receive life-changing surgeries. Other projects also took place in Nigeria and South Africa, enabling a total of 3,000 people to receive various medical assistance. 🇷🇼🇸🇱🇰🇪🇹🇿🇳🇬🇿🇦

Bukayo Saka has helped fund 120 life-changing operations in Kano, Nigeria. The Arsenal FC star then received some moving letters of thanks from the children - and wrote a letter to Dr Musa Ibrahim himself. ✉️🇳🇬

New homes, more security, a better future ❤️

Thanks to the donation from Bukayo Saka, a container village has been created in Morocco. The 50 containers are equipped with a sleeping area, power sockets, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a washbasin, toilet and shower. In addition, protective grilles have also been fitted to the windows to serve as fall protection in the event of further earthquakes. 🇲🇦🙏

Hundreds of people in the Moroccan provinces of Al Haouz and Taroudannt lost their homes and loved ones in an earthquake. Thanks to Bukayo Saka, they are now receiving help, have a roof over their heads again and a smile on their faces. ❤️🙏🇲🇦

Bukayo Saka helps earthquake victims in Morocco 🇲🇦

In September, a strong earthquake shook Morocco, killing around 3,000 people. Together with BigShoe, Arsenal star Bukayo Saka looked for ways to help the more than families in the particularly hard-hit provinces of Al Haouz and Taroudannt. ❤️

The 22-year-old has donated 50 container apartments for those affected. These were used to build a container village - a new home for numerous families and widows. 🙏

Saka hopes that "the 255 people and, above all, the 89 children in the containers can regain a piece of their everyday lives". 💬

🇲🇦 Imrane, a small boy from the region Fès, suffers from a complicated heart disease and Hasna, a little girl from from Chefchaouen, had an abdomen growing outside of her belly.

Unfortunately the children couldn't have surgery due to the high costs of the operations. That’s why Bundesliga star teamed up with to make the operations possible. 🤝

This week, the two children underwent successful surgery at .iberia and . 🙏🏥

"Being healthy is a privilege, nothing to be taken for granted. It's a relief for me that everything went well and I'm very happy that I was able to make the operations possible", Barkok said.🗣️
