The BigShoe® stands for a worldwide growing network of sports stars and fans, helping poor children The Togo national team was based in Wangen im Allgäu.

Together with a large fooball shoe (BigShoe) as a unique symbol, many footfallfans worldwide help poor children with medical operations. It began with the “Sommermärchen” during the World Cup 2006 in Germany. When the citizens of Wangen im Allgäu heard about Nourisson from Togo who was born with a cleft and urgently required an operation, they began collecting money to help pay for the medical req

uirements. And so began the great idea and story of BigShoe. BigShoe won the “World-Cup-Bambi 2006” Television Prize, awarded by Hubert Burda Media. BigShoe keeps walking and together with the WC 2010 (South Africa), WC 2014 (Brazil) and EC 2012 (Ucraine and Poland) and EC 2016 (France) many more needy children got medical operations worldwide….
