“Rave culture has shaped this world, has shaped our lives, and has aided in the liberation of bodies and minds across the world for generations now...and yet, we need to make sure the spiral continues to move underground culture upwards, as the darkness of the outside world turns up the noise.

There are countless reasons to dissociate & escape from reality right now: and systems of oppression thrive on indifference, apathy and disembodiment, as well as feelings of powerlessness...

The roots of House and Techno come from liberating (marginalized) bodies and minds as a rebellion to oppressive systems...House and Techno are spiritual AND political technologies for awakening our bodies, our spirits and our creativity ...EXACTLY for these times (as the noise of separation & othering gets cranked up) we are being called to wake up & rise: It’s a calling to get back to the real roots, and to what really matters.

Since the pandemic, it’s been challenging to feed the Underground, and yet, this spirit is there, like a mycelial web...Calling on the roots of these strong cultural movements (of which Rave has been built upon) to hold us and guide us right now: as well as being strong in our own roots & bodies...let’s not take any of our liberation for granted, but use it to empower & create:

“Hard times require furious dancing.”—Alice Walker”

“I’ve been part of this scene since 2015 and over the years I’ve found my own rhythm. It doesn’t take much more than music, connection and good energy ✨
What keeps me going is the sound, the people, the shared pulse.
Some things might make it easier to connect, but the real magic comes from us.
This space, this closeness, this intensity — it’s all real, even without the extras.
I love the rush of music, the emotions it brings out, and how it lets me express what words sometimes can’t.
Dancing is the magic. Looking into each other’s eyes, singing along, switching off, feeling deeply. That’s what it’s all about 💜
Whether alone or surrounded by others, dancing helps me let go. It’s release, it’s healing, it’s freedom in motion.
This way of raving feels more sustainable for me. It gives me the energy and clarity to live a full life, balancing my weekday job with the joy of playing music on the weekends. And I wouldn’t want it any other way.

We’re all in this together.
Take care and keep on groovin’ 🪩💜”

Thanks so much for opening up and shifting the perspective of sober energy & magic on the dancefloor ✨

“At the end of October last year, I decided to stay sober for almost two months.
No big statement, no rules — just curiosity.

Something happened that I had never experienced before.
I’m a perfectionist with my music, which means I usually have a lot of unfinished ideas sitting on my hard drive. This time was different. I felt more clarity, more focus, and somehow more patience with myself. Tracks didn’t just start — they actually got finished.

Sobriety didn’t take creativity away from me.
It gave it another push.

I’m not saying this is the way, or that it works for everyone. But I can imagine that for many creative — and non-creative — minds in our scene, this shift could be surprisingly powerful.
Just something worth sharing, and maybe thinking about.

DE

Thanks so much .lezmusic for sharing your ecperience 🙏✨💜

‘So Why did I stop?

I wasn’t doing drugs for fun anymore.
I was trying to fix myself — and it simply didn’t work anymore.
The situations I tried to upgrade didn’t change.
There was nowhere left to run.
I had checked out every escape route.

The only way left was back to myself.
Back to my truth that lives in my body.

I was longing for real connection — having fun, feeling unity.
But I was so tired of superficial conversations.
So I chose radical honesty, even when it felt risky.
Whenever I feel the urge to upgrade a moment, I chose myself instead.

Listening to my body. Feeling what is there. Especially the uncomfortable stuff.
If I don’t like what I feel, maybe I’m in the wrong place.
So I try to change the situation — or I leave — instead of changing myself chemically.

My priority is me, just as I am, in that moment.

The thing is:
If I abandon myself, there’s no one left to connect to. Isn’t it?

So if something in your drug use feels a bit off recently, ask yourself:
what’s your real need right now?
Connection, safety, feeling alive —
and maybe find a way to meet that need that actually works?

If you feel the call,
join the January Sober Challenge.
Leave a comment and tell me:
what are your good reasons to do drugs?

In case you are looking for more support hit me up for a 1:1 or group session: .2.body

Now put your phone down.
Do something real.
Your phone is just another drug.’

Thanks for sharing 🫰

Let’s be real.

Wirklich tanzen. Da sein.
Keine Schlange vorm Klo, kein Filmriss.

Freiheit. Verbindung. Lebendigkeit.

Und ja, let’s be true:

Neugierig? Dann schau mal auf ihrem Profil vorbei: .wallach

It’s time to show some faces! 👀

The sober challenge is an initiative for the community, from the community 🫶 We want to hear how you are feeling and give the possibility to exchange experiences and what matters to your hearts!

Today, is sharing some thoughts with you:

“Many hide behind partying to party their problems away — but we need more mental health support in our scene. I just wish for more openness, where we can honestly talk about our well-being — even at raves.”

What do you think? Do you agree? Thanks for being part of this! 💜
