European Youth Press (EYP) is a network of youth media organisations in Europe. It works to build a society where empowered young media makers are actively participating and contributing to the public sphere by creating fair, independent and responsible media, fostering the development of democracy, international development and a sustainable future.

𝑾𝒆'𝒓𝒆 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑬𝒚𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝑼 👁️

Over the course of the first capacity-building training in Athens, participants explored the foundations of ethical journalism, policy monitoring and strategic communication.

𝑰𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔𝒏'𝒕 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒐𝒓𝒚! The participants also developed practical media production skills through workshops, preparing for the project.

Beyond the sessions, the training created space for collaboration, networking and exchanging perspectives across borders. 🌍

From advocacy and stakeholder mapping to making policy stories more engaging and accessible, participants spent four days learning how media can help young people better understand and engage with the European Union.

Our Comms Manager, 𝗥𝗼𝘇𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘃𝘀𝗸𝗮 𝗛𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝘃𝘀𝗸𝗮, joined a workshop in Strasbourg on 𝗔𝗜, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & one message stood out:

𝘼𝙄 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝙀𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽.
𝗥𝗲-𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 • 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 • 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.
𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗽𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁.

𝙀𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 was present on the opening day of the in Brussels, grateful to be part of the space where young voices, institutions, and ideas first come into dialogue.

Isidora Žarković has been shaping EYP’s digital presence since January 2025 until now, developing its visual storytelling and translating institutional communication into more youth-centered formats.
