Seminar for Accredited Organisations โ€“ Malmรถ, Sweden ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช

What a great and inspiring week in Malmรถ!
It was a pleasure to reunite with other accredited organisations, exchange good practices, and share questions, challenges, and insights. These conversations remind us how valuable it is to create spaces where organisations can learn from one another and strengthen the quality of their work.

We believe that more seminars like this are essential, not only for improving organisational processes and competencies, but also for enhancing the quality of educational programmes and the accreditation system as a whole.
A huge thank you to the Swedish National Agency for Youth and Civil Society (MUCF) and the Estonian Education and Youth Board for organising and supporting this valuable event. We are also deeply grateful to the facilitators for creating such an engaging, collaborative, and inspiring learning environment throughout the week.

Events like this truly make a difference in our community, helping us grow stronger together and continue delivering meaningful opportunities for young people across Europe.

Letโ€™s go green?!

Letโ€™s go green?!

This message is becoming increasingly common in hotels. By skipping daily room cleaning, guests can help reduce water consumption, laundry, detergent use, and energy consumption.

But it also raises an important question: where is the line between sustainability and greenwashing?

If a hotel encourages guests to reuse towels and skip housekeeping but does little else to reduce its environmental impact, is it a genuine sustainability strategy or mostly a cost-saving measure presented as a green initiative?

Real sustainability goes beyond asking customers to change their behaviour. It requires transparency, measurable environmental goals, waste reduction, energy efficiency, and responsibility for the broader impacts of operations.

This isn't to say that initiatives like this are greenwashing. But it is worth asking:

How can we tell when a "green" initiative creates meaningful environmental benefits, and when it mainly serves as a marketing tool?

What do you think? ๐ŸŒฑ

๐Ÿ’Ž Inspiring days in Porto! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡น

Youth Power Germany is proud and grateful to be part of the DIAMOND Project consortium.

DIAMOND is an EU-funded initiative that brings together universities, research centres, NGOs, and innovators to develop new ways of helping people strengthen their career, digital, and sustainability skills, supporting their journey towards employment and lifelong learning.

During our consortium meeting in Porto, we had the opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss the progress of the project, explore the development of the DIAMOND platform and AI tools, and collaborate on innovative learning formats and micro-credentials that can create meaningful opportunities for learners across Europe.

The discussions, workshops, and collaborative spirit were truly inspiring. It was exciting to work alongside such a dedicated international team committed to building more inclusive and accessible pathways for learning and employment.

A heartfelt thank you to Aarhus University and Proportional Message for the excellent organisation and warm welcome in Porto. We are looking forward to the next steps of this exciting journey!

Building a Human-Centric Future for the European Labor Market ๐Ÿ’Ž

How can technology actually make the job market more inclusive? For the Innovation & Industry Ecosystem, the answer lies in data that sees the person, not just the profile.

The Diamond Empower project is creating a new standard for how we understand potential:

โ€ข For the Scientific Community: We are validating the แดฑGROW Index, a research-backed taxonomy that measures growth mindset and adaptability, moving beyond traditional CV data.
โ€ข For SMEs & Start-ups: Access a more resilient talent pool. Weโ€™re identifying "hidden" skills that make small businesses thrive in a digital and green economy.
โ€ข For Developers: Our MOVEแดฑ platform is a modular ecosystem. Weโ€™re exploring how AI-supported recommendations can provide ethical, personalized learning paths.
What do you believe is the most critical factor for an adaptable workforce in 2026?

We are proud to share our Accreditation Project 2025 and what weโ€™ve done so far!

As an Erasmus+ accredited organisation, Youth Power Germany is implementing a wide range of international learning activities that bring young people and youth workers together across Europe and we couldn't be more excited about what we've built.

From training courses to youth exchanges, every activity is designed to empower, connect, and inspire!

And the best part? We are already preparing the activities for 2026 โ€” because great youth work never stops!

As part of Youth Power Germanyโ€™s Erasmus+ accreditation, this project supports a wide range of youth exchanges and professional development activities across Europe. It promotes inclusion, participation, and learning through non-formal education, empowering young people and youth workers alike.

Weโ€™ve already passed more than half of our training course โ€œ101 First STOP โ€“ Emotional Intelligence in Non-Formal Educationโ€ and it has been an amazing experience so far!

Over the past days, participants from different countries have been exploring emotional intelligence, empathy, stress regulation, conflict management, and positive mental health through non-formal education and experiential learning activities.

Beyond the workshops, this training has created a safe and supportive space for sharing experiences, building connections, and growing together both personally and professionally.

Weโ€™re excited for the remaining days, more learning moments, and unforgettable memories ahead in Zadar!
