🌐 Deep Tech Momentum 2026 brought 3,000+ founders, investors, and corporate leaders to Berlin. Combined with the massive energy of Deep Tech Week, seeing all of Europe converge in our city was incredible—and we left feeling genuinely proud of this community we're creating together with ambitious people.
Startups from our community took the stage—founders we've worked alongside through accelerator programs, workshops, and everything in between, presenting in front of Europe's leading deep tech investors and corporates. And even our creatives rocked the stage, Lori.
The evening's centerpiece was the Deep Tech Berlin Award 2026, presented for the first time as part of DTM, with awards handed out by Michael Biel, State Secretary for Economics, in the presence of Senator Franziska Giffey. Five Berlin-based companies were recognized for turning cutting-edge research into real-world solutions:
▪️ Endless Industries—sustainable 3D printing for fiber-reinforced composites (Advanced Manufacturing)
▪️ MyoPax—novel cell therapies for muscle tissue regeneration (Bio- & Healthtech)
▪️ Gretchen AIAI-powered deepfake and fake news detection (Artificial Intelligence)
▪️ Xavveo—photonic radar sensors for navigation and measurement (Quantum Technologies, Photonics & Microelectronics)
▪️ Decen Space—decentralized satellite communication networks (Web3 & DLT)
A special "Deep Tech Award for Breakthrough Momentum" also went to Six Robotics for their autonomous swarm intelligence software for drone fleets. Congratulations to all the winners.
We were proud to have our very own Tayla Sheldrake, moderating both the Titans Stage and the Deep Tech Award 2026, handing out the awards alongside partners including Senatsverwaltung für Wirtschaft, Energie und Betriebe, Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie, Commerzbank, Science & Startups, SIBB - ICT & Digital Business Association Berlin-Brandenburg, and neighbors CIC Berlin. As part of Deep Tech Berlin, seeing this community show up together — hubs, startups, institutions, and policymakers in the same room — is exactly what we're here for.
And then there's DiaMonTech AG. They won the Deep Tech Award in 2024. Joined our community that same year. And are now a challenge giver in our Tech Talent Program Batch 8, working with the next generation of STEM students on a real industrial problem.
From award winner to active ecosystem builder—in two years.
That's what happens when an ecosystem actually works.
