OPEN CALL for PAPERGIRL BROOKLYN
Papergirl-Brooklyn is a participatory art project. In an open call artworks are being collected, exhibited and then distributed in the streets. This takes place in a collective bike ride where the rolled up art is handed out (in the style of american paperboys) to random passers-by as surprise presents. This unconventional art project disrupts the flow of consumption and brings people in contact with art in their everyday lives.

Artwork Must Be:
1. Rollable
2. analogue (no digital files)
3. Non-commercial
4. No hateful messaging or imagery
5. Respectful of cultural differences

To all the Papergirl friends out there! Good news: Papergirl-Brooklyn is back!
After 10 years Sina Basila and her team are doing an anniversary return!
And no virus can stop them 👏👏👏

Papergirl-Brooklyn (PGBK) has made some big project changes!
PGBK has replaced the artist workshops and interactive gallery exhibition with an open-air, multi-location, audio-guided, street exhibition. The exhibition will be accessible on public streets in ten Brooklyn neighborhoods, and there will be an audio-program from which listeners will be guided through the exhibition and introduced to the neighborhood by a local artist.
The exhibition will only be viewable from the streets of Brooklyn, but the audio program will be accessible from anywhere with internet connection.
