14 km-The Shortest Distance Between North Africa and Europe e.V. We are an NGO that facilitates intercultural exchange and cooperation between Europe & SWANA

14 km is a non-profit organization that facilitates good ideas across border lines. It was established by a group of seven cosmopolitan individuals, from Europe and North Africa, who got together for one cause: to bridge the cultural gap and overcome the socio-economic distance between Europe and Africa.

14km members believe in justice and created the NGO to fill a niche in which members can provide professional services to individuals and organizations that are committed and passionate about their civic responsibilities that go beyond their own door mat. It fosters overarching initiatives that connect and empower communities in smart and simple ways. It’s not just since the Arab Spring that Europe and North Africa are close neighbours. However, times for exchange and cooperation are better than ever – if as NGO, public actor, individual or company.

14,4 km is a non-profit organization.

14,4km e.V. ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation, die sich für die Entwicklung von gleichberechtigten Partnerschaften über Grenzen hinweg einsetzt. Während unser Team hauptsächlich in Berlin arbeitet, ist es unser Ziel, Kooperation und Austausch zwischen Europa und Nordafrika/dem Nahen Osten (MENA-Region) zu fördern und Menschen aus beiden Regionen zusammenzubringen. Zudem vermittelt 14,4km e.V. durch seine Aktivitäten in Deutschland Wissen über die MENA-Region und bietet eine Plattform für direkten Austausch vor Ort.
