Tara - Eine Künstlerinitiative
Uns haben die aktuellen Entwicklungen in den deutsch-türkischen Beziehungen zusammen gebracht. Schon vorher hatten wir als Team Veranstaltungen in beiden Ländern organisiert. Wenn man dem Künstler seine Freiheit beraubt, geht er ins Exil. Anfang der 80er Jahre, nach dem Militärputsch in der Türkei, flüchteten Gewerkschaftler, Politiker und Autoren nach Deutschland.
Nun kommen Künstler, Akademiker und Journalisten. Als Tara Team werden wir uns die Mühe geben, dem Künstler eine freiheitliche Plattform zu schaffen, damit er Menschen weiterhin berühren kann. Auch, wenn wir jetzt mehr Künstler aus Istanbul haben, wollen wir mit allen im Exil lebenden Künstlern zusammen kommen. Und das braucht der Mensch jetzt mehr denn je. Tara glaubt an Demokratie, an die Menschenrechte und respektiert die Verschiedenheit der Menschen. Wir sagen Nein, zu jeglichem Nationalismus. Wir sind der Überzeugung, wo Kunst auf Menschen trifft, da kommt man auf bessere Gedanken. Gülcin & Mürtüz & Petra & Yesim
Tara - Bir sanatçı inisiyatifi
Tara, farklı kültürlerin zenginlik olduğunu düşünüyor ve bu kültürlere saygı duyuyor. Sanatın bulunduğu her yerde insanlara dokunacağına ve olumlu etkiler bırakacağına, barışı yaratacağına inanıyor. Buna günümüzde her zamankinden daha çok ihtiyaç var. Çünkü bugün dünyanın her yerinde özgürlüğü elinden alınan insanlar göç etmek zorunda kalıyor. Türkiye’de 1980'deki askeri darbeden sonra, Almanya'ya sendikacılar, siyasetçiler ve yazarlar gelmişti. Son dönemde gelenler ise ağırlıklı olarak sanatçılar, akademisyenler ve gazeteciler. Tara’yı da Almanya - Türkiye ilişkilerindeki güncel gelişmeler bir araya getirdi. Öncelikle arkadaş olarak birbirimize destek oluyoruz ve sanatın insanlara ulaşmaya devam edebilmesi için özgür bir ortam yaratmaya çalışıyoruz. Şimdilik ağırlıklı olarak İstanbul'dan sanatçılarla çalışmamıza rağmen, sürgündeki tüm sanatçılarla bir araya gelmek, ortak hareket edebilmek istiyoruz. Gülçin & Mürtüz & Petra & Yeşim
Tara - An artist initiative. The latest developments in relations between Germany and Turkey have united us. Friends help each other. Each of us have previously organized cultural events in both countries. If an artist finds himself stripped of his freedom, he goes into exile. After the military coup in 1980 trade unionists, politicians and writers came here. Now artists, academics and journalist are heading for Germany. As Tara Team, we are trying to provide a platform for the artists so that they can keep on being in touch with people. Even though we have more artists from Istanbul than ever, we want to get together with all artists in exile. Art creates peace. And that's what mankind needs right now. Tara believes in democracy, human rights and respects diversity. We say no to all forms of nationalism. We know that wherever art meets people, people think better. Gülcin & Mürtüz & Petra & Yesim
