Geschlechtergerechtigkeit erfordert mehr Mut zum Chefsessel durch Frauen sowie zu Kooperation durch Männer. Für alle ein Lernweg. Los geht's

Auf dem Weg in Leitungspositionen können Frauen von Männern als Bedrohung wahrgenommen werden wie umgekehrt Frauen gelegentlich in Männern vor allem Kontrahenten sehen. Diese Form des „Gender trouble“ dürfte nicht zwingend originelle Lösungen für mehr Geschlechtergerechtigkeit auf Leitungsebene hervorbringen.

Was kennzeichnet die Vorurteile und Voreingenommenheiten, die es erschweren, dass mehr Frauen in Leitungspositionen aktiv sind? Wie können Männer, die Chefs sind, die Qualitäten und Talente von Frauen besser fördern? Wann gelingt es, Kompetenzen von Frauen, die als „männlich“ gelten, leichter anzuerkennen, sowie „nicht-männliche“ Stärken wertzuschätzen? Wie können Empathie und Kooperation gestärkt werden – ohne dabei Verlustängste auszulösen? Schließlich: welche psychologischen Barrieren hindern Frauen daran, exponierte Positionen und damit Verantwortung zu übernehmen – und gegebenenfalls für eigene Anliegen streiten zu müssen?

Lassen Sie sich / lasst euch inspirieren und ermutigen. Wir stellen ein Lernmodul zum Thema vor, das die belgische Kollegin der Projektgruppe erarbeitet hat. Dies verbinden wir mit praktischen Übungen. Und weil der Wunsch dazu geäußert wurde, werden wir noch einmal das souveräne Auftreten in Teammeetings und bei öffentlichen Wortmeldungen erproben.

Das Treffen ist Teil des Women Power Circle, einer Gruppe von Frauen, die sich auf Augenhöhe begegnen, gegenseitig stärken und gemeinsam neue Wege gehen wollen. Der Kreis kommt im Rahmen des Projekts „ElevatHER – Overcoming the Gender Power Gap“ zusammen, in dem Organisationen aus fünf Ländern zusammenarbeiten.

How can freelancers create a professional logo and visual identity without a big budget?

In this practical workshop, you’ll learn the basics of logo creation, common mistakes to avoid, useful free tools, and how AI can support (and where it cannot replace) the design process. You’ll also get practical tips to build and maintain a consistent visual presence for your freelance work.

Participants will receive short takeaways with guiding questions and helpful tools.

Trainer: Anna Martiusheva, graphic designer with experience in logo creation, corporate identity, and design for print and digital media.

The workshop is limited to 10 participants to allow time for questions and discussion.

Nach fünf Jahren in der Wilhelmstraße 150 ziehen wir weiter – ins KiezBüro am Ostkreuz. Wir sind gespannt auf die Community, die dort schon arbeitet, auf neue Begegnungen und darauf, wie sich unser Alltag dort anfühlen wird.

Was wir auf keinen Fall zurücklassen: unsere Haltung. Nachhaltigkeit heißt für uns auch beim Umzug, Dinge nicht wegzuwerfen. Möbel, Geschirr, Pflanzen, Technik und Büro-Gadgets, die nicht mit ins neue Büro passen, geben wir an die Community weiter. Sharing is caring – ganz praktisch.

Tarot for Freelancers – how to speak in image

This experiential workshop offers freelancers a creative tool for reflection, clarity, and perspective.

Freelancing often means navigating uncertainty, making decisions without clear answers, and staying connected to your own direction. This experiential workshop offers freelancers a creative tool for reflection, clarity, and perspective.

Using two tarot cards – The Fool and The World – you will explore images as a language. Tarot is approached not as prediction, but as a reflective practice to help notice patterns, shift perspectives, and ask better questions in professional life.

Through short imagery exercises and playful group exploration, cards are treated like dreams: alive, embodied, and full of meaning. No prior tarot knowledge is required.

This workshop is an introduction to “Speaking in Image”, taught at the International Institute for Dreaming and Imagery®.

Facilitator
Dr. Anna Nowicka is a choreographer and educator, director of the DYW Kids® program, and facilitator of numerous adult courses at the International Institute for Dreaming and Imagery®. She has been applying dreaming techniques to dance and performance for over fifteen years.

“This won’t work.”
We heard that sentence a lot in the beginning.

And still, we kept going.

When we founded Smart Coop Germany, we knew our model didn’t fit into existing boxes. A cooperative that allows people to work self-employed while being employed at the same time sounded unusual to many. It meant explaining a lot, discussing even more, and taking quite a few detours along the way.

It wasn’t always easy.
But it was worth it.

What really confirmed our path were the voices of our members. People who told us how much it changed their working lives to combine self-determination with social security. That’s when it became clear to us: this is more than an experiment.

Today, Smart Germany exists because we didn’t let “that’s not possible” stop us. Because we believe that fair, secure and self-determined work can go hand in hand.

Last week, we gathered at the Smart Coop Germany office for our community get-together. Glühwein 🍷, good food 🥪, laughter, many languages — and new faces joining in. You could feel both:The exhaustion of the past months. And the warmth that comes from being part of a real community 🤍.
