Join us for an exciting Panel discussion: "Between Story and Stereotype: Southern Perspectives on Migration and Belonging ”

How is migration represented in the media, and how is it truly lived? We’re bridging two continents to explore the gap between the narratives told about migrants and the stories told by them.
➡️ Isidora: Presenting her research on the discursive construction of Venezuelan migrants in Chilean media.
➡️George: Sharing his findings on the lived realities and structural constraints faced by West African youth in Germany

What to expect:
➡️A joint discussion exploring parallels between Latin American and African migration contexts.
➡️An open forum where your voice is welcome! We’ll tackle questions like: “How can we centre migrant voices without romanticising them?”
