Disabled4s enables Successful Mentors to showcase activities while Mentees gain inspiration and Motivation. Lazarus group of hope Cameroon (LGHC) now known as "Disability4s Mentors and Mentees(Disability4s) was created on August 17th, 2013 in Yaounde, Cameroon. Disability4s was founded by a blind physiotherapist and her paraplegic patient (moderator of Disability4s) after spending two years toget
her in a rehabilitation center. They became acquainted with the challenges persons with disabilities (PWD), especially women and girls pass through, and decided to seek solutions. The group started as a prayer cell in early 2013. In the course of our discussions with the targets, we noticed most were jobless and very poor. We then decided to see into the humanitarian aspect of their lives. The prayer cell then grew into a legalized humanitarian group in August 2013. Disability4s has come to “ADD VALUE” to the encouragement many secular NGOs provide to PWD through role model mentoring.
