// Arne Grashoff Arne Grashoff (born in 1995) lives and works in Berlin. In his interdisciplinary practice spanning photography, sculpture, and installation, he explores identity, corporeality, and gender within the tension of social norms. He is currently studying Fine Arts at the Berlin University of the Arts under Prof. Manfred Pernice.His work has been presented at, among others, Kunstraum Bethanien (Berlin), the Wiesbaden Photo Festival, and the exhibition „Spuren der Nähe” in dialogue with works by Käthe Kollwitz at the Art Collections Chemnitz. His photographic series „Body to Body” was published in 2026 in „THE OPÉRA – Volume XIII / Mythos Issue”, the international magazine for classical and contemporary n**e photography.

In 2026, he was nominated for the Young Generation Art Award by Monopol Magazin, a prize dedicated to supporting outstanding positions in emerging contemporary art.

OPEN CALL - CALL IT BY ITS NAME A group mixed-media exhibition on perpetrator accountability in domestic violence

We’re inviting artists to submit work for Call It By Its Name, a group mixed-media exhibition at Culterim Backshop, Berlin, opening 14 February 2027.
Too often the focus stays on the victim. This exhibition turns the question toward the perpetrator, impunity, denial, the failures of justice, and what accountability actually looks like. We welcome work in any medium that engages with this.

// Bitchgoddesses is an installation depicting erased histories: those that have
been wiped from the cultural canon, such as the history of q***r people or
women. The titular bitchgoddesses are women at the height of their power,
demonized for possessing agency and control. They are answers to the world’s
afflictions: what they were accused of becomes their strength, which they draw
from anger. Two (default) bitchgoddesses hold a boulder on which is inscribed
the story of the first of them, blamed for the r**e that was committed against
her.

Part of the installation is the interactive annex Hey, love, in which the viewer
can connect with contemporary bitchgoddesses through the gesture of
grasping the cables emerging from the boulder. The cables symbolize history
powering the present, yet being severed, they allude to the erasure of collective
memory. Only the viewer’s touch restores the connection.
The work is addressed to people with non-male experience and offers space to
express the anger that oppressed groups are often unable to show, as they are
expected to remain restrained despite the constant violation of their
boundaries.

// Rosalie Aynhorn is a mixed media artist, painter and communication design student exploring the dialogue between spirituality, dreamlike states, and the human condition.
Through textured paintings, sculptural assemblages, and layered materiality, her work bridges the tangible and the ethereal - investigating the spaces where material meets metaphysical. Each piece becomes a visual meditation on presence, transformation and emotional memory, reflecting a continuous search for meaning within the fragmented landscape of existence.
