S J Azm Foundation for Culture & Educ مؤسسة صادق العظم للثقافة والتعليم. منظمة مستقلة خاصة بدعم التعليم للسورين أسسها الدكت?

The Sadik Jalal Al-Azm Foundation for Education and Culture (the Foundation) was founded as a continuation of Sadik Jalal Al-Azm’s long life dedication to education, learning and culture. As a professor, scholar, human rights advocate, and an activist, Sadik has had an unwavering commitment to human dignity, intellectual freedom and civic virtues. These values today are under attack, particularly among children, by war, poverty, and extremism and no more so than in Sadik’s native country Syria. It is the mission of this Foundation to address this challenge by:
(a) Supporting educational and cultural activities and programs for children in conflict zones irrespective
of their religion, sect, nationality or gender;
(b) Creating and supporting educational and cultural strategies and activities that promote civic values, and encourage, inspire and empower the youth of today to become the future leaders of positive change. The Foundation is organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes, as defined in Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
