Call for German participants for an Erasmus+ Training Course in Piles, Spain 🇪🇸
This project is based on a simple but firm idea: sustainability and critical thinking must be learned and practiced.
Its main goal is to empower youth workers to become agents of change who inspire young people to act as ambassadors of science and sustainability in their communities.
By using science as an accessible and universal language, the project brings scientific knowledge closer to young people and turns it into action through Citizen Science and non-formal learning.
The project also tackles digital disinformation by strengthening critical thinking skills and helping young people identify and challenge fake news and conspiracy theories.
Through intercultural cooperation and active participation, it promotes European values, global citizenship, and youth involvement in decision-making processes, preparing young people to contribute to a more sustainable, informed, and inclusive future.
Objectives:
To empower youth workers with knowledge, skills, and nnovative methodologies so they can act as agents of
change in their daily work with young people.
To promote science as an accessible and inclusive tool, using Citizen Science to actively engage young people in sustainability-related actions.
To strengthen critical and analytical thinking among young people as a key strategy to combat digital disinformation, fake news, and conspiracy theories.
To encourage active youth participation in decision-making processes, especially on environmental and technological issues that affect their lives.
To foster intercultural dialogue, European values, and international cooperation, building a network of
organisations committed to sustainability, critical thinking, and youth empowerment.nce and non-formal learning.
PROFILE:
be willing to invest into their personal and professional development;
be motivated to try out new methods and tools and apply them with their target groups;
be good at English;
fully participate for the whole duration of the project;
be ready to engage in active physical and mental activities;
be aware that Training Course is not a holiday but a learning experience.

All costs are covered (food, accommodation, travel) travel costs will be reimbursed within a specific limit of 350€ Eur.
