📆 The biggest Italian theatre in Tuscany, filled with over 800 passionate singers from all over the world.

✨On October 3 and 4, 2026, the Teatro Verdi of Florence becomes the stage of an unprecedented collective music experience: over 40 international choirs will sing together the Messa di Gloria by Giacomo Puccini and a world premiere by Ēriks Ešenvalds, in memory of San Francesco d‘Assisi.

Simon Halsey ( ), conductor of the Oslo Philharmonic Choir, takes the podium of the Orchestra della Toscana ( ) in an emotional journey into the exciting program.

Balancing between lightheartedness and religious solemnity, Gioachino Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle is a truly unique work. In June 2027, we will present this extraordinary piece as a Choral Academy featuring especially intensive rehearsal work with German conductor Johannes David Wolff. An incredible opportunity to perform in the beautiful Philharmonie Berlin! ✨

The project is aimed at experienced choirs, ensembles, and individual singers who wish to further develop their vocal skills, deepen their stylistic understanding, and explore Rossini’s distinctive musical language in depth.
