EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT - ᴡᴇᴅɴᴇꜱᴅᴀʏ 22 ᴀᴘʀɪʟ, 7PM - ꜱᴀᴍᴀʀ “ʙᴏᴜɪ-ʙᴏᴜɪ” - ʀᴀɪꜱɪɴɢ ꜰᴜɴᴅꜱ ꜰᴏʀ ʟᴇʙᴀɴᴏɴ

Next Wednesday we gather around one long table where multidisciplinary artist and food designer Samar from boui-boui Food Design Studio | Berlin brings her Tunisian roots to a 3-course family-style dinner, blending familiar flavours with cross-cultural techniques.

Photographic works will be displayed from ’s solo exhibition “Where Do I Belong?” spanning over seven years of work created in the South of Lebanon, reflecting on identity, displacement and resilience.

At the same time, we will show solidarity with those affected by the ongoing conflict by raising funds for Lebanon. 100% of drinks proceeds go directly to an emergency fund providing mutual aid for displaced families in the South.

Tickets include a 3-course dinner + welcome drink. Book via the link in bio or DM.

We’re back and can’t wait for what’s in store with our incredible roster of creative cooks joining the Gather community this year. First up, we’re so excited to introduce the lovely Samar from , who will be serving a warming, spice-driven, citrusy delight of a lunch to carry you through a Sunday spring afternoon at .berlin.

Gather aims to create a safe and inclusive space for all people, so as always, open minds and good vibes only. Tickets are 55€ pp and include a 3-course family style lunch and welcome drink. Book your spot via the link in bio. We don’t want anyone left out so for low income support, please drop us a DM. This is a not-for-profit event - any profits will be donated to a charity of choice agreed between Gather and the cook.

For this special event, she reimagines how we gather, eat, and connect - blending food with the cultural influences that shaped her journey. The menu pairs Tunisian staples with contemporary, cross-cultural techniques. Each course is playful yet precise: familiar flavors reframed, tradition respected but never static.

Rooted in terroir and seasonality, her approach invites guests to think differently about food’s role in society - how we share, how we consume, and what our choices mean for the environment. It’s Tunisian soul with a curious, global hand: bold, convivial, and quietly provocative.

ꜱᴀᴍᴀʀ
Samar is a multidisciplinary artist and food designer exploring the intersections of sound, food, space, and human interaction. Through boui-oui, her Berlin-based food design studio, she creates immersive table experiences that invite reflection on the shifting relationship between nature and culture.

Our 20th event (!!) since starting out five years ago, and feeling endlessly grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey.
berlin was created to build connection, community and conversation, while helping to educate and diversify the food industry. Each gathering is a space to learn from one another, share stories and celebrate the creativity that food brings.

Thank you to everyone who continues to show up with love, and to all the incredible cooks for your energy, generosity and delicious food. You have our hearts (and tummies).

Reminiscing on this eve ✨ New events coming soooonnnn

What exactly is Gather?
Gather is a nonprofit initiative that focuses on food’s ability to connect people, spark conversation and create social change.

The aim is to diversify the food industry through profiling a range of cooks, stories and cuisines, and use food as a way to bring people together within their community.

All profits go to a different charity every event chosen collaboratively with those involved.
