At kindezi.world, we ask a simple question:

What happens when children grow up without having to leave parts of themselves behind to belong?

Too many children learn early that safety means becoming smaller. Quieter. Less visible. Less connected to their language, culture, emotions, or history.

We believe another reality is possible.

Rooted in African and Afrodiasporic traditions of collective care, Kindezi.World creates spaces where children are not only taught, but truly seen.

Through storytelling, movement, creativity, emotional learning, and intergenerational connection, we nurture confidence, curiosity, and cultural pride.

Because education is never neutral.
It either disconnects children from themselves or helps them grow into who they already are.

We choose the second path. 🌍

We are proud to share the new promotional video for tubman t(w)eenagers – Empowerment für Schwarze Jugendliche, a project by tubman.network e. V.

Black children and young people of African and Afrodiasporic heritage continue to experience racism and exclusion within the German education system. Through workshops, creative expression, mentoring, dialogue, and community based learning, this project creates spaces for empowerment, reflection, participation, and collective growth.

In 2025, together with schools, Kitas, educators, families, artists, and community partners, we worked to strengthen awareness, support affected youth, and develop practical approaches for addressing racism and discrimination in educational spaces.

In 2026, we continue this work through the participatory Citizen Science project “Perspective Shift in the Classroom / Perspektivwechsel im Klassenzimmer”. Students of Black, African, Afro diasporic, and Indigenous heritage become co researchers of their own realities by documenting experiences, analyzing structural patterns, and developing strategies for change together with scientific and community partners.

As the project states so clearly:

“Those who experience racism are not just affected. They are experts.”

Every child deserves to grow up in a world where they can see themselves reflected. ❤️

The Kindezi Kita Afrocentric curriculum was developed over 15 years with real children and communities in Berlin, Brikama, and Nairobi under leadership of Amal Abbass.

Soon it will be accessible digitally for families, educators, Kitas, and schools worldwide via our new digital platform Kindezi.world. Follow us also on Instagram .world, share and check out Kindezi.de

Sudanese womxn have been leading revolutions, protecting families, and organizing survival while much of the world looks away.

Today, on International Womxn’s Day, we honor the courage, leadership, and resilience of Sudanese women.

For years, Sudanese women have stood at the forefront of the struggle for dignity and justice. They helped lead the Sudanese revolution, mobilized communities during political upheaval, and today continue to support families and organize humanitarian relief during the ongoing war.

Across Sudan and throughout the diaspora, women are raising funds, documenting human rights violations, supporting displaced communities, and keeping culture and hope alive in the face of devastating violence.

Sudanese women are not only survivors of war.
They are leaders, organizers, educators, healers, and revolutionaries.

At tubman.network e. V., we recognize that community resilience and liberation movements are built through women’s leadership and collective care. Inspired by the legacy of Harriet Tubman, we stand in solidarity with Sudanese women everywhere.

Your resistance matters.
Your leadership matters.
Your voices must be heard.

January 2026. We came together to reconnect, reflect, and realign.

Our work brings together community education, afrocentric learning, creative practice, and concrete support for children, families, and young people. We work intergenerationally, trauma aware, and community led. Not for people, but with them.

At the center of everything we do are dignity, agency, and collective care.
We create spaces for listening, learning, and building together.
For clear structure and flexible flow.
For responsibility and rest.
For projects that do not just accompany people, but strengthen them.

Our concrete focus: building afrocentric curricula and growing community.

Community is not an idea to us. It is daily practice.

✨ Join us.
No matter where you are in the world, you are welcome to collaborate with us in community education and afrocentric learning. Bring your skills, your time, or your resources, and let’s move forward together.

We are currently open to:
• Volunteers
• Collaborators
