Mother was born in 1960, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, southern India. Today, she lives in a small village in Germany, at Schloss Schaumburg, Balduinstein. The Mother Meera Foundation (Mutter Meera Stift

ung) is a non-profit foundation to support Mother’s activities of giving free Darshan throughout the world, and running a school in her native South India in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh.

: The Divine is everywhere. It is not necessary to go on retreat. But there is no rigid rule about this – if someone desires to go that is all right.

In general I recommend a balance between wordly life and spiritual life. One must love the world and its people, not feel a repulsion for them. There is nothing wrong with the world – the Divine is everywhere. It is just that usually we are not good enough truly to see the world.

: They come from the Light. Which ones you experience depends on your personality, your past karma, your state of consciousness and which path is yours – bhakti, karma, jnana and so forth.
