We have got travel fever! And this coming Tuesday night, we will be joining our dear friends at Cologne Toastmasters for a joint and hybrid meeting!

You can already sign up HERE for a role, if you haven't yet done that. This evening is months in the making, and we are excited to get fresh perspectives, ideas, and creative challenges. We thank the Board from Cologne and also our team members here for coordinating with one another to make this possible. Great news! Amadeus is moderating a workshop to give us all a chance to get a good start on writing our next speeches. Many of us have become so busy with other projects this year, careers, university, start-ups, gardens, kids, travel and so much more! Here is a chance to truly focus and get some ideas structured and written down.

Colder nights? It was a shot of Vitamin TM to get that bounce back in our step. Thanks to everyone who joined and made the evening a success!

Even if we are going with the flow, others around us may not. One thing is for sure! It requires a heart of courage! Strength, focus, determination and vision!

Moderated by 2-time Toastmaster of the Evening, Goutham Nimmala, meeting #534 will be an unprecedented experience, and one you will not soon forget! Table topics will be moderated by Ashika Lanser. Get ready for a brain workout, and heart-warming team-building.

Last week's event, titled 'Personality Development', was an astonishingly emotional evening. Yes, it is also necessary to convey deep gratitude, awe and appreciation for others and ourselves, in a professional frame. One can indeed achieve the intended of effect of letting others know how much they matter and make a difference within a working team, all while practicing public speaking skills. Emotional investments are a big part of today's leadership model.

A stunning evening overall, with three prepared speeches, including guest performances by Peter Ratko from Cologne. One of the greatest jewels of the event was the feedback we received at the end. TM Aachen makes a difference in people's lives. That is why it is widely recognized as the most fun and dynamic club in the land. Thanks to all who made it such a gorgeous experience.

Moderiert von dem Multitalent Meaza Cossmann, ist dies ein Treffen, dass du nicht verpassen solltest! Bei der Persönlichkeitsentwicklung geht es darum, einen großen Teil dessen, was du bist und wie du mit deiner Welt interagierst, zu dehnen, zu wachsen, zu definieren und neu zu definieren. Sie kann von Zielen geleitet und geformt werden, aber auch von der Reise zum Erreichen dieser Ziele.

Ein besonderer Gastredner wird Peter Ratko sein, ein Vorstandskollege aus unserer Region, und wir freuen uns sehr, ihn wieder in unserem Club begrüßen zu dürfen! Viele Rollen sind noch offen. Entscheide dich, wie viel du investieren willst, denn die Rendite wird RIESIG sein!

Das Treffen von letzter Woche wurde von Amadeus Küppers leidenschaftlich moderiert, der spontan 5 verschiedene Rollen übernahm, um einen abgerundeten Abend für alle Teilnehmer, einschließlich 5 Gäste, zu gewährleisten!

Ashika Lanser hielt einen interaktiven und informativen Vortrag/Teamcoaching über Konsensfindung und die Bedeutung von MMFI. Sind Sie neugierig, was das sein könnte? Fragen Sie einige der Anwesenden!

Anna B. gab ihr ein sehr konstruktives und nützliches Feedback, wie sie die notwendigen Informationen effektiver vermitteln und die Moderation einer Gruppendiskussion üben kann. Ashika war von Annas Tipps so inspiriert, dass sie beschloss, die Rede in naher Zukunft erneut zu halten.

Die Sitzung zu den Tischthemen, die ebenfalls von Amadeus geleitet wurde, hatte ein völlig anderes und überraschendes Format - alle unsere Köpfe mussten hart arbeiten, reflektieren und auch zusammenarbeiten. Sehr gut gemacht!

Personality, it's about stretching, growing, defining, re-defining a big chunk of who you are and how you interact with your world. It can be guided and shaped by goals, and also the journey to achieving these goals.

There will be a special guest speaker, Peter Ratko, who is a fellow board member in our region and we are very excited to welcome him back to our club! Many roles still open. Time to decide how much you want to invest, because the return will be HUGE!

Last week's meeting was passionately moderated by Amadeus Küppers, who spontaneously took up 5 different roles to ensure a well-rounded evening for all who attended, including 5 guests!

Ashika Lanser held an interactive and informative speech/ team coaching session on reaching for consensus and the importance of MMFI. Curious as to what that may be? Ask some of the people who were there!

Anna B. Gave her very constructive and useful feedback for how to more effectively convey the necessary information and practice mediating a group discussion. Ashika was so inspired by Anna's tips, she decided to deliver the speech again in the near future.

The table topics session, also lead by Amadeus, had a totally different format and surprising format - all our brains had to work hard, reflect and also co-operate. Very well done!

R-E-S-P-E-C-T! Find out what it means to team Aachen! Yes, we know we are in the summer dip, but our commitment to effective communication doesnt sleep! Its always an excellent day to refresh our awareness of Contemporary issues regarding effective boundary setting, cultural sensitivity and enthusiastic consent, to boot! This is an evening about our humanity, our fallibility, our ability to learn from our past missteps. Confidence in this area comes from consistent training ! Be prepared for table topics and mini group activities! Former Area Director Alexandru Nicolae is also attending and taking the timer role! Our goal is to collectively highlight what respect is for each of us, with the long term goal of further community building in our wonderful club! Hooray. Ms. Aretha Franklin would be proud.

And stay tuned, because there is a "Part Deux" coming up in autumn!

Es ist immer ein hervorragender Tag, um unser Bewusstsein für aktuelle Themen wie effektive Grenzziehung, kulturelle Sensibilität und begeisterte Zustimmung aufzufrischen! An diesem Abend geht es um unsere Menschlichkeit, unsere Fehlbarkeit und unsere Fähigkeit, aus vergangenen Fehltritten zu lernen. Zuversicht in diesem Bereich entsteht durch konsequentes Training! Seid bereit für Stegreifreden und Minigruppenaktivitäten! Der ehemalige Gebietsleiter (Area Director) Alexandru Nicolae ist ebenfalls anwesend und übernimmt die Rolle des Zeitnehmers! Unser Ziel ist es, gemeinsam herauszustellen, was Respekt für jeden von uns bedeutet, mit dem langfristigen Ziel, die Gemeinschaft in unserem wunderbaren Club weiter zu stärken! Hurra. Meeting #523 - “Vernetzung”
Toastmasters Aachen - Offline Deutsches Meeting

Der Mensch ist ein soziales Wesen. Von Geburt an stehen wir in ständigem Kontakt mit anderen Menschen und werden durch soziale Bindungen beeinflusst. Nicht nur enge Beziehungen im Familien- und Freundeskreis, sondern auch berufliche Beziehungen und der allgemeine Kontakt zur Gesellschaft sind für unsere Entwicklung von enormer Bedeutung.
Wie kann ich mein soziales Netzwerk ausbauen? Wie bleibe ich vernetzt? Was sind meine Vorstellungen von einer vernetzten Welt? Was sind meine Erwartungen und welche Rolle möchte ich in der Gesellschaft übernehmen? Unter dem Titel "Vernetzung" wollen wir am kommenden Toastmasters-Abend den oben genannten Fragen. Der Abend wird von unserem erfahrenen Mitglied Maria Kaparaki geleitet und findet an unserem neuen Standort, Welthaus an der Schanz, statt.
Rhetorik- und Kommunikationstraining, begleitet von spannenden Themen - Vernetzung beginnt bei Toastmasters! Für ein abwechslungsreiches Treffen sind alle Mitglieder eingeladen, sich für offene Rollen auf easyspeak anzumelden, sofern ihr am Treffen teilnimmt. The human being is a social being. From our birth we are constantly in contact with other people and are influenced by social ties. Not only close relationships within family and circle of friends, but also professional relationships and general contact with society are of enormous importance for our development.
How can I expand my social network? How do I stay networked? What are my ideas of a networked world? What are my expectations and what role do I want to play in society? Under the title "Networking" we want to answer the above questions at our upcoming Toastmasters evening. The evening will be led by our experienced member Maria Kaparaki and will take place at our new location, Welthaus an der Schanz.
Rhetoric and communication training, accompanied by exciting topics - networking starts at Toastmasters! For a varied meeting, all members are invited to sign up for open roles on easyspeak if you are attending the meeting. Guests are of course welcome as always.

Our last meeting was not only moderated by Amadeus Küppers, the Man on Fire, but also opened by him in the President role, where he got to interview guests for the first time. Additionally, there were speeches given by members who are building a lot of momentum! Meaza, Sebastian and Carmine! A TM evening would not be complete without a rich assortment of Table topics, and this night was no exception!

The meeting on the 27th June will be moderated by YOU. Yes you. Reading this. Don't look over your shoulder. Now is your chance! The topic is whatever you want, you are the boss of the evening! Please be sure to sign up not only for next week's meeting, but also the 4th and 11th of July for any role you like! It really helps with planning. Our goal is to have three Moderators lined up always, this will improve our Public Relations information flow, and increase engagement overall. The legacy continues, indeed!

Last night, our board members for 2022-2023 were relieved of their duty, effective June 30th of this year. We thank them for their time, energy, effort and creativity. Thank you for always striving for quality, consistency and caring - our training is possible because of the planning, quick thinking, stamina and also creativity provided by this group. It takes a village, and we appreciate your patience, professionalism and commitment!

Our new board members for 2023-2024 was also voted in and we wish them much success! Thank you for investing in this club. Onwards and upwards!
