🌍 Monada MTÜ in Shift Perspectives! 🌍

At Monada, we really believe that mobility, meeting new people and taking part in international projects can change lives. Shift Perspectives gave us the chance to connect with amazing people from across Europe, learn new things, and share our own experiences.

💡 For us it’s about supporting young people and youth workers to grow, bring new ideas home and feel part of something bigger. Mobility is how we build stronger, more open communities for the future.

✨ Shift Perspectives Training Course ✨

💡 Monada MTÜ and its members took part in Shift Perspectives, a training course that brought together youth workers from across Europe to explore how we can challenge stereotypes, embrace diversity and create more inclusive activities and projects.

🌍 The project focused on:
• Culture: reflecting on and breaking cultural stereotypes
• Identity: preventing discrimination and celebrating uniqueness
• Awareness: understanding personal mental patterns
• Communication: learning nonviolent communication tools
• Imagination: finding new ways of connecting with others
• Programme Design: creating inclusive youth projects

💬 The aim was to create a brave and open space for dialogue, respect, and connection, showing how youth work can play a key role in fighting discrimination and building a culture of acceptance.

🇪🇺 The project was organised by our lovely partners Brno Connected from Czechia and co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

🎯 With this training course, we want to create a brave and inclusive space where we can explore together how to shift perspectives - how to stay connected with others, bring respect into everything we do, and empower young people to embrace diversity with confidence and curiosity.

👉 What to expect:
✅ Culture - we will look at approaches to culture and critically reflect on cultural stereotypes that are often replicated
through international learning programmes.
✅ Identity - we will explore the uniqueness of each person and look for ways how to prevent discrimination based on differences among people.
✅ Awareness - you will get a chance to look at your own mental patterns and how to liberate yourself from them.
✅ Communication that connects people - we will learn basics of nonviolent communication as an approach that fosters connection.
✅ Imagination - we will train and expand our ability to imagine different ways of functioning with others, outside the usual
frames and patterns.
✅ Design of educational programmes - you will practically test how to design and deliver programmes which contribute
to creating a more fair and inclusive environment in youth work.

🎯 The training course “Green Horizons” aims to bring together 28 youth workers from different European countries in the rural region of Galicia. During these days, a non-formal education space will be created where participants can learn, exchange and develop innovative tools and methodologies to promote sustainability among young people.

✅ Outdoor education and how to use local natural resources as learning tools,
✅ Practical skills on how to implement sustainability projects,
✅ Explore regenerative and sustainable solutions that address the climate crisis and rural depopulation,
✅ Networking and best practices sharing amongst relevant participants.

🌿 Raise your Impact Training 🌿

💡 A member of Monada MTÜ, Gaya had the incredible opportunity to take part in the Raise Your Impact training! This experience was extra special because it followed one of our all-time favorite approaches — the Basic Synergy Methodology.

🌍 At Monada, we are passionate about bringing unique learning experiences to Estonia. That’s why we’re working hard to introduce the Basic Synergy Methodology through our very own project, Brave New World.

🌿 Raise Your Impact was an eight-day personal development training course focusing on the topic of impact, organised by Brno Connected in the Czech Republic. Participants went through an intensive experiental programme that offered space for development of self-awareness, reflection on personal patterns and concepts and empowered the participants to take steps and make things happen. It was also a lot about communication, cooperation, feedback and working with others through inclusive approach.
