🎄✨ Merry Christmas from the Gilwell Centre Prague! ✨🎄

As the year comes to a close, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who visited the Gilwell Centre Prague in 2025. It’s been a fantastic year welcoming guests from 9 different European countries, and we’re truly grateful for every visit, conversation, and shared moment.

We wish all our visitors, friends, and supporters a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎅🎁
We’re already looking forward to welcoming even more visitors in 2026 and continuing to share the spirit of Scouting and international friendship.

It’s been a fantastic summer at the Gilwell Centre - Prague , with Scout visitors from all over Europe joining us to explore the city and enjoy new adventures. 🌍✨

We’re grateful to every Group who chose to stay with us — it was a real pleasure to host you. 💚⚜️

And the adventure doesn’t stop with summer! This weekend we were delighted to welcome Scouts from Kraków, Poland, and we look forward to hosting many more groups in the months ahead. 🚀

We were delighted to welcome more impromptu visitors to the Gilwell Centre - Prague while on holiday in Prague – Michael Edey and Sian Edey from 2nd Fareham Sea Scouts, UK.

Not only were they staying at the hotel right next door to our centre (not the first time this has happened!), but they also took time out of their 25th wedding anniversary holiday to come and see us.

They enjoyed a tour led by two of our Group Lead Volunteers, and of course, badges were exchanged! ⚜️

Congratulations to Michael and Sian on your anniversary – and thank you for choosing to include us as part of your special holiday. It’s always a pleasure to share Scouting friendship across borders.
