About Us
The association Theatre Unlimited is a group of young directors, dramaturgists, designers and actors who introduced in the DAMU school theater Disk the following productions: Reto Finger: Ledový Hrot / Kaltes Land (translation and dramaturgy Jana Slouková, directed by Jan Frič, scene Nikola Tempír, costumes Iva Němcová, music Miloš Orson Štědroň), Peter Wheel: Dude Love (directed by Jan
Frič, dramaturgy Jan Tošovský, scene Nikola Tempír, costumes Bára Pištěková) and the musical Štěstí dam (Musical Radical) (music Miloš Orson Štědroň, libretto and direction Lucie Málková, lyrics and dramaturgy Jan Tošovský, scene Iva Němcová, costumes Petra Vlachynská and Barbara Wojtkowiak). Even after graduation, the group continues to create its own theatrical language in cooperation with various Prague theaters (e.g., the original production Mlčenlivá in Cross Club, premiere November 30, 2008, or Krásná z Roissy in cooperation with A Studio Rubín, premiere September 9, 2010). Its work focuses on contemporary issues and tends to have a touch of political art. Conceptually, it works with fresh graduates and tries to give them a chance to fulfill themselves professionally.
