🇪🇺 Europe II SSVP Country Representatives Meeting

On the occasion of the Ssvp-Conseil Général International General Assembly, the Country Representatives of Europe II took the opportunity to come together for a fraternal exchange and to begin planning a broader regional meeting in the future.

Representatives from Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland, and Ukraine gathered in a spirit of fraternity and collaboration under the leadership of our International Territorial Vice President (ITVP) for Europe II, Bro. Ján Kukučka.

Through sharing experiences, discussing common challenges and opportunities, and exploring ways to strengthen collaboration across our countries, we were reminded that we are united not only by our service, but also by our shared faith and Vincentian spirit.

As we look ahead and continue building connections across Europe II, we recall the words of the disciples on the road to Emmaus:
“Were not our hearts burning within us while He talked with us on the way?” (Luke 24:32)

May that same fire continue to inspire us as we journey together in hope, friendship, and service to those most in need.

We humbly ask for your prayers as two members of our Society will travel to Lisbon, Portugal to participate in the SSVP Council General International (CGI) General Assembly from June 15–19, 2026.

Representing the SSVP Council General International (CGI) as its representative to the United Nations Commission.

Together with Vincentian leaders from across the globe, they will take part in discussions, discernment, and planning to strengthen the Society's mission of serving Christ in those who are poor, vulnerable, and marginalized.

May this international gathering deepen our commitment to charity, solidarity, and systemic change, enabling us to better respond to the needs of those entrusted to our care.

May the Sacred Heart remind us that no burden is too heavy, no wound too deep, and no soul too far from His loving embrace. Let us place our trust in Him, especially in moments of uncertainty, and allow His love to transform our hearts into instruments of peace, kindness, and service.
