Following the footsteps of St. Vincent de Paul, he dedicated his life to proclaiming the Gospel and serving Christ in the poor, bringing the Vincentian spirit of charity, humility, and missionary zeal to China. Even amid persecution, he remained faithful to his mission until martyrdom on September 11, 1840.

May his witness inspire us to live our Vincentian vocation with courage and to serve Christ faithfully in the poor.
