Tento týden se Eliáš Rosenbaum zúčastnil výročního kongresu .global jako zástupce ČUŽM ve Washingtonu D.C., a bylo to setkání, které stojí za zmínku.

Kongres přinesl prostor pro diskuse s předními odborníky, politiky a komunitními lídry, kteří sdíleli své pohledy na výzvy i příležitosti, jimž dnes židovské komunity čelí. Každý panel byl příležitostí k zamyšlení, k učení a k navazování vztahů přesahujících hranice jednotlivých zemí.
Mimořádně přínosná byla setkání s kolegy z Maďarska a Slovenska. Středoevropský rozměr židovského komunitního života má svá specifika, a právě tento dialog považuji za jeden z nejcennějších výstupů kongresu.
Děkuji AJC za tuto příležitost a za dny plné podnětných rozhovorů a nových přátelství. Těšíme se na další společné kroky při budování silných a propojených židovských komunit.

This week Eliáš Rosenbaum represented ČUŽM at the annual AJC - American Jewish Committee congress in Washington D.C, and it was a gathering worth mentioning.

The congress brought together leading experts, politicians, and community leaders who shared their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing Jewish communities today. Every panel was an opportunity to reflect, to learn, and to build relationships that reach beyond national borders.
Particularly valuable were the meetings with colleagues from Hungary and Slovakia. The Central European dimension of Jewish communal life has its own distinct character, and it is precisely this dialogue that I consider one of the most meaningful outcomes of the congress.
I thank AJC for this opportunity and for days filled with thought-provoking conversations and new friendships. We look forward to further steps together in building strong and connected Jewish communities.
