A special recognition for strengthening Czech-Italian relations!

We are delighted to share that Vojtěch Munzar, Member of the Czech Parliament, Chairman of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group with Italy and member of CAMIC, has been awarded the Order of the Star of Italy in the rank of Knight (Cavaliere). ✨

The prestigious Italian state decoration was presented by H.E. Alessandro Gaudiano, Ambassador of Italy to the Czech Republic (Ambasciata d'Italia a Praga), in recognition of Mr. Munzar’s significant contribution to strengthening relations between our two countries.

Reflecting on the award, Mr. Munzar expressed his gratitude and highlighted the importance of Czech-Italian cooperation:

💬 “This award is an enormous honor for me. Our countries are natural partners that strengthen one another, and I remain deeply committed to growing these ties.”

The Interparliamentary Friendship Group with Italy, chaired by Mr. Munzar, brings together 50 members of the Czech Chamber of Deputies, making it one of the largest parliamentary friendship groups.

👏 On behalf of CAMIC, we warmly congratulate Vojtěch Munzar on this prestigious distinction and thank him for his continued commitment to Czech-Italian cooperation!

📢 CAMIC reminds the Italian community in the Czech Republic: The COMITES 2026 Elections are approaching! 🇮🇹 🇨🇿

The elections for the 12 representatives of the Committees of Italians Abroad will take place on December 4, 2026.

DEADLINE: Voting is exclusively by mail, but you will only receive a ballot if you submit a formal request to be on the electoral list by November 4, 2026.

Who is eligible to vote?
• Italian citizens of age
• Registered in AIRE (Czech Republic) for at least 6 months
