On a remote Indonesian island, conservationists from saveturtle.net guard sea turtle nesting sites from poachers. 🐢🌊

Their boat served them for 7 years. Now it's leaking, the hull is thinning and the engine is broken.
Without a new boat, no one gets to the island. No food, no team, no help in an emergency.

The orangutan conservation fundraiser has been successfully completed. 🦧🌴💚

100% of the collected funds were sent to support orangutan conservation through Orangutan Outreach, as well as educational projects by primatologist Stanislav Lhota’s Education4Conservation and Green-Books.org.

Every year, thousands of hectares of tropical rainforest in Indonesia and Malaysia disappear because of palm oil production — the home of orangutans, tigers, and local communities. And even though it may seem far away, we are part of this story too.

Thank you for helping protect rainforests where they are needed most. Every donation was a vote for nature. 🌳🧡

There are many homeless dogs living in Bali. 🐕 Every day they face illness, injuries, and harsh living conditions.

Balibaba is working to change this reality – treating, rescuing, and giving dogs a chance at a new life. Some cases, however, are so severe that even the best care isn’t always enough. 💔

But the moments when help truly makes a difference bring immense joy – like helping puppies that were abandoned. They need medical treatment, vaccinations, deworming, and, most importantly, a safe home. 🏠

All of this requires time, energy, and financial support. For perspective – one sterilization costs around EUR 30 and helps prevent further suffering.

World Hippo Day 🦛

Happy hippos from the Logone River in Chad. Hippos are vital to river ecosystems: through their movement and their dung, they return nutrients to the water and help keep the river alive. Yet they are among Africa’s most threatened large mammals due to habitat loss and conflicts with humans.

Thanks to you, sea turtle guardians on Indonesia’s Denawan Island finally have a lifeline to the outside world. 🏝️

The brave team protecting rare turtle nesting sites from poachers on this remote island no longer has to face danger alone. With your support, has set up Starlink satellite internet powered by solar panels.
