Na dnešní den připadá Mezinárodní den památek a sídel. Věděli jste, že Czech National Trust je členem mezinárodní sítě organizací, které se o památky starají? Prostřednictvím celosvětového programu spolupráce INTO Places otevíráme dveře členům ostatních organizací z 32 zemí a sdílíme příběhy, které chráníme. Tato spolupráce nám připomíná, že naše kulturní a přírodní dědictví je propojené a čerpá sílu z velkorysosti, důvěry a vzájemného poučení.
Členové sítě INTO pečují o místa, kterým dala vzniknout staletí lidského úsilí spolu s divy přírody. Od pobřeží a hradů po zahrady, galerie a krajinu – naše památky mají možná kořeny v různých zemích, ale náš cíl je společný.
Dělíme se o své znalosti, zkušenosti i výzvy a připomínáme si tak, že ochrana památek není osamocená činnost. Když se od sebe navzájem učíme, vysíláme do světa dobré nápady. Když spolupracujeme, budujeme odolnost. A když se propojujeme přes hranice, kulturní a přírodní dědictví se všude stává silnějším.
Dnešní den je oslavou toho, co nás spojuje: přesvědčení, že péče o dědictví je jak lokální, tak globální, a že spolupráce je jedním z našich nejdůležitějších nástrojů.
Když společně chráníme místa, o která pečujeme, chráníme totiž příběhy, dovednosti a krajinu, které patří všem.
Today marks the International Day for Monuments and Sites. Did you know that the Czech National Trust is part of an international network of heritage organisations? Through our worldwide collaboration programme, INTO Places, we open our doors to peers from 32 countries, sharing the stories we steward. Through this exchange, we’re reminded that heritage doesn’t exist in isolation - it’s strengthened through generosity, trust and shared learning.
INTO members look after places shaped by centuries of human effort and natural wonder. From coastlines and castles to gardens, galleries and landscapes, our sites may be rooted in different countries, but our purpose is shared.
By sharing knowledge, experience and challenge, we’re reminded that conservation isn’t something we do alone. When we learn from each other, ideas travel. When we collaborate, we build resilience. And when we connect across borders, cultural and natural heritage everywhere is stronger.
Today we celebrate what connects us: a belief that caring for heritage is both local and global - and that collaboration is one of our most powerful tools.
Because when we protect our places together, we protect the stories, skills and landscapes that belong to everyone.
