🚁🌾 Advancing Smart Agriculture Through Digital Mapping in Battambang Province
On 28–29 May 2026, lecturers from the National University of Battambang (NUBB) and Project Officers from Building Action for Integration and Development Engagement (BAIDE) conducted digital mapping activities at Phnom Kraper, Samros Muk Reah, and Roka Mean Rith Agricultural Cooperatives across three districts of Battambang Province.

🚁 Drone flights over rice fields for digital mapping and data collection
Digital mapping using drones provides farmers with valuable information about crop conditions that may not be visible from the ground. By capturing aerial data, farmers can quickly identify weak or damaged areas in their fields, enabling earlier intervention and reducing potential crop losses. The technology is fast, non-destructive, and can efficiently cover large agricultural areas within a short period.
