to when Prague's Štvanice Island came alive with solidarity to commemorate World Refugee Day 2026! 🌳✨
Visitors explored diverse stands, sharing cultural heritage through unique souvenirs and traditional costumes during RefuFest organized by InBáze, z. s. within LWF Prague project Fostering Inter-Cultural Understanding and Sensitivity (FICUS) with financial support by Evangelische Landeskirche in Württemberg (ELCW).
We are so proud to support these shared spaces where refugees and locals connect, weaving a more compassionate social fabric together. 🤝🌎

When the war forced her to leave her home, trauma silenced her. But through an amateur theater group supported by LWF Prague’s FICUS (Fostering Intercultural Understanding and Sensitivity) project, funded by Evangelische Landeskirche in Württemberg, she found healing, a supportive community, and her voice again.

Today, she radiates confidence and shares a message of gratitude alongside her new mantra: "Today is the first day of the rest of my life." ✨🎭

A meaningful evening with our partner Společný domov • ekumenická síť

We had the pleasure to attend the launch of a new prayer book by Společný domov in Prague, held in the beautiful and intimate space of Božská Lahvice in Prague’s Old Town. This unique publication beautifully connects spirituality and care for creation, inviting readers to reflect on faith, ecology, and our shared responsibility for the world around us. We were especially honored by the presence of poet and therapist Adam Borzič, who shared thoughtful reflections on deeper meaning of this book.

We are grateful to support this initiative through our FICUS project (Fostering Intercultural Understanding and Sensitivity), with the support of the Evangelische Landeskirche in Württemberg

Krásný večer s našimi partnery Společný domov

Jsme měli tu čest zúčastnit se uvedení nové modlitební knihy Společného domova v Praze, které se konalo v krásném a komorním prostoru Božská lahvice na Starém Městě. Tato jedinečná publikace citlivě propojuje spiritualitu a péči o stvoření a zve čtenáře k zamyšlení nad vírou, ekologií a naší společnou odpovědností za svět kolem nás. Bylo pro nás také velkou ctí být u toho, když básník a terapeut Adam Borzič knihu symbolicky požehnal a sdílel své hluboké úvahy o jejím významu.

Jsme vděční, že můžeme tuto iniciativu podpořit v rámci našeho projektu FICUS (Fostering Intercultural Understanding and Sensitivity), s podporou Evangelické luteranskou církve ve Wurttembergu.
