Hello everybody, this week went by quickly, I've been to a few school were we also talked about my favourite topic, food! Tomorrow we will go skiing with the other volunteers, wish me luck I will try to ski for the first time in my life!

This week we went to our first prom here in Pelhřimov which was something quite new for me since I have never been in something similar. It was really fun and I think the class that graduated enjoyed it also a lot. Despite this we had the proverbs which was really fun to shoot with a lot of failures and laughs. Now this weekend I will travel to Berlin from Prague to meet some friends that will be there. Wish me luck in my 5 hours bus trip and see you next Friday until then you check how was our experience in the prom, on our Instagram page

Days are passing by here in Czech Republic, and between new friends and new experience they are going really fast, I'm really enjoying the time spent discovering new life stories and enriching our life with new one's, I hope that time will not run away too fast and I can enjoy every single minute of this experience.

This was a very busy weekend!! On Friday night we went to the Prom! We were super happy because we met new people, and we saw how the Czech people experience their graduation, which for me it was quite impressive, in Spain we don't prepare it like this. Normally in my city when we graduate from our Bachelor's degree we go to the University to a conference room, and then we sit quietly everyone really dressed up formally for the occasion, and then the professors and the director make a speech and then they proceed to call us one by one to give us the title. And later we go to dinner and have some party but I might say, it is not as well organised as this!!!
The next day I went to see the Jihlava hockey match, it was super tense, they even had to go to penalties, I had a lot of fun! I bought one scarf for supporting the team!
Last but not least, yesterday we went to Lake Stráž, and I skated in real ice, I would love to do it again! (Although the cold weather always makes me feel a bit weak) What did you do this weekend? Did you also go to skate? Or did you go to the match? I would love to know!! Till next week!!

Hey! It’s been a while since I updated you, so here’s a quick catch-up! ✨

The holidays were amazing I spent time with family and friends, traveled to Austria, Slovakia, and of course, back to Greece. 🇦🇹🇸🇰🇬🇷 It was a blast!

Since coming back, I’ve been busy working on HodinaH’s social media. 📲 There’s a lot to do, but I’m really enjoying it, and I hope you are too!

Tonight, we’re attending a prom, which I’ve learned is a big tradition here. 💃🕺 I’ll share all about it next Friday stay tuned!

My volunteering experience in the Czech Republic has been incredibly enriching. 🇨🇿✨ Not only am I helping the community, but I’m also learning so much about myself and the world around me. 🌍
One of the most rewarding moments has been sharing my passion for cooking with the locals. Today, we tried making Parmigiana! 🍆🇮🇹 It wasn’t perfect, but it turned out pretty good and it was so much fun.
It’s amazing how food can bring people together, spark connections, and build bridges between cultures. 🥰

The holidays are over, and it’s time to get back to work! 🎉✨ But before diving in, let me share a bit about Italy’s last holiday of the season: La Befana, celebrated on Epiphany (January 6th)🇮🇹
This beloved tradition features an old woman flying on a broomstick, leaving gifts for good children and coal for the naughty ones. 🧹🎁 But who is La Befana?
Legend has it that she was invited by the Three Wise Men to join their journey to find baby Jesus. She declined at first but later regretted it. Setting out to find the Christ Child, she got lost, and to this day, she continues her search leaving treats (and coal!) for children along the way. 🍬✨

Hello! 🤓 Nothing really big has happened since the last time I wrote 📝 So I wanted to tell you how much fun we spent celebrating Secret Santa 🎅, really low cost, volunteer affordable prices 💸. I had to give Erika a present 🎁 so I sew a really nice purse 👜. Later they told me that it had to be ugly and funny so I raced 🏃🏻‍♀️💨 to the nearest shop to buy the most horrendous calendar and some funny glasses 🕶️. I think she liked it 🤔

Friday, Friday, what a lovely day! 🎉✨
This week was all about diving into the Christmas spirit. 🎄🎅 We visited different schools, organized fun activities for the kids, shared our Christmas traditions, and learned about theirs, it was such a wholesome exchange! 🌍❤️
Oh, and guess what? I’ve apparently become a bit of a pop star! 😎 At the last school, the kids even asked to take photos with me. The miracle of Christmas happened earlier this year.💫😂

I’m diving into ALL the Czech traditions, and it’s such an exciting experience, everything feels so new and unique! From festive markets to traditional customs, it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable Christmas. 🎅✨
