The Charity Gala committee all work pro bono and event costs are always covered by ticket sales. This means that 100% of our supporter’s donations go directly to our charities.
Charity Gala was founded in December 1999 to support Broken Silence, a charity that provides speech therapy and family support to children born profoundly deaf.
Over the years we have branched out to support other causes including the Paediatric Oncology department at Motol, the foster mother project at Beroun Children’s home, the mobility and garden projects at Diakonie and the therapy group for complex needs children at Pink Crocodile.
We have also donated funds to the Cystic fibrosis charity, CMV, the home for blind adults, Krtek, Drop of Hope and Pink Bubble.
