Thank you for keeping the legacy alive.🙏
The Saint Tyagaraja Aradhana is an annual, world-renowned Carnatic music festival that commemorates the life and work of the revered 18th-century composer-saint, Sri Tyagaraja. This is the 179th year of this celebration which initiates from Thiruvayaru, India. 🇮🇳
Main Event is the collective, group rendition of Tyagaraja's five most significant compositions, known as the Pancharatna Kritis (five-gem compositions). Hundreds of musicians, from students to seasoned professionals, sit together and sing in unison to pay homage to the saint.
This milestone has a global following, with similar events held by Indian communities and music bodies in various cities around the world, including the Czech Republic 🇨🇿.
