◽On 20 May at the Italian Parliament in Rome, CAMIC proudly organized the conference “The Czech Republic: A Strategic Partner for Italy
◽The event brought together leading institutional representatives, ambassadors, ministers and top business leaders.
◽Following the message delivered by Hon. Giorgio Mulé, Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies, contributions were made by Hon. Nazario Pagano; Vojtěch Munzar, President of the Interparliamentary Friendship Group with Italy of the Parliament of the Czech Republic; H.E. Jan Kohout, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Rome; H.E. Alessandro Gaudiano, Ambassador of Italy to Prague; and Danilo Manghi, President of the Italian-Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Subsequently, speeches were delivered by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Antonio Tajani, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade, Karel Havlíček.
Among the key topics discussed were:
▪️ industrial competitiveness in the EU
▪️ energy security
▪️ innovation and startups
▪️ aerospace and defense industries
▪️ bilateral investments and trade growth
The event also featured insights from business leaders and industry representatives across multiple sectors, showcasing the growing opportunities for collaboration between the Czech Republic and Italy.
