“We arrived at the North Macedonian airport in the afternoon. After a public bus took us to the city of Skopje, we got out and made our way into the Old Bazaar, where we were staying. After dividing up the rooms we walked all the way to a local restaurant that Ivan - the Macedonian team leader-picked. We got to try traditional North Macedonian dishes, and we were warmly welcomed by the friendly locals, who told us more about North Macedonian culture. Soon, the Romanian teams arrived as well, and we all celebrated our first day of this Erasmus+ program.” Anička Fraňková
“The first competition day started with us walking all the way to the meeting spot. We sat down and introduced ourselves to the other teams. After a short coffee break, we got to meet each participant more closely with an icebreaker game. We had to talk one on one about a certain topic for a set amount of time. For lunch, we were given pizzas to share and got to work on preparing for our presentation. We summarized our key ideas and presented our slides to each other as a warm-up. At 16:00, we finally began presenting. The judges asked us additional questions, which we tried our best to answer. Each team had 10 minutes to give their pitch. We ended late in the afternoon and met up again later for dinner alongside the other teams.“ Anička Fraňková
