Pangea is an intersectional feminist NGO focused on education and advocacy. Our mission is to create safe and inclusive spaces where women, q***r people, and others can come together for collective learning, feminist advocacy, and kinship. We host education sessions, workshops, and other events focused on raising awareness about feminist, q***r, and political issues. We also participate in politic

al activism in addition to writing and publishing feminist content. We aim to create in-person and online educational courses for all people interested in feminism, social justice, and paradigm change.

Mind-Body Medicine: Care Beyond Psychiatry

Whether we focus on migrant & refugee wellbeing, building resilience in communities, responding to local and global crises, or simply building collective healing circles, psychiatric framework for mental health care has many shortcomings. With its Eurocentric, highly individualistic, apolitical approach, the traditional psychiatric framework is unfit to address the needs of our times.
Addressing these shortcomings, this workshop explores an alternative approach to self and community care - one rooted in our innate knowledge, in our bodies and in our togetherness.
The workshop will be facilitated by Moujan Mirdamadi - scholar of philosophy & mental health, and MBM advanced trainee and facilitator.

Pangea is proud to be sponsoring an art exhibition from January 21 - February 22:

No Word for Home / Chybí slovo pro domov / لا كلمة للوطن، سوى العودة

This exhibition brings together female artists from the Czech Republic and the Levant, moving between English, Czech, and Arabic to explore exile as both a bodily and linguistic experience, and how the feminine form becomes a site where translation, displacement, and public memory collide.
