Holos is a place where psychology, therapy, and art meet on the path of healing and self-discovery. 🌱 Often referred to as a holotropic clinic, it offers a unique blend of therapeutic and transpersonal approaches. We provide:

Psychotherapy & counseling – treatment of trauma, psychological and psychosomatic difficulties

Grof® Breathwork – deep experiential self-exploration

Sandplay therapy – symbolic work with children, adolescents, and adults

Music and art therapy – healing through creativity and expression

Integration of challenging psychedelic experiences – safe guidance for making sense of profound or difficult journeys

Workshops, trainings & community events – education and growth for professionals and the public

Our mission is to support people in times of crisis, transformation, and personal growth — creating a safe space for exploring the depths of the psyche and the transpersonal dimension of human experience.

✨ Holos is also home to cultural events, art exhibitions, and the annual Vlaštovské schody music festival.

The end of the year is a good moment to pause for a while. To look back, take a breath, and notice the experiences that have stayed with us—sometimes strong, sometimes subtle, yet always meaningful. At Holos, we believe that experience itself is what teaches us the most. Not performance, but genuine contact with ourselves, with others, and with what transcends us.
We see the year 2026 as an open space for new experiences, discovery, creativity, and meeting one another. We wish you a year full of vivid, meaningful, and joyful moments—those that stay with us because they touch us deeply.

🏆 Completion of the Sandplay Training at Holos

Yesterday we celebrated the completion of our six-month training in Sandplay therapy and symbolic work at Holos Center, led by Milan Hrabánek and Jana Vysoudilová.
Certificates were awarded – along with joy, gratitude, and pride in the journey participants have taken.

The final module included case study presentations as well as personal reflections on each participant’s self-experience during the training.
Exploring the world of symbols through which the soul speaks in Sandplay has been deeply enriching for all of us – and especially for the future clients whom our graduates will now be able to support with greater skill, sensitivity, and responsibility.

We thank the whole group for their trust, openness, and the beautiful shared path. 🌿✨

Breath connects us with the body, the heart, and the world around us.
Through conscious breathing, we can rediscover inner calm, clarity, and vital strength.

At Holos Center, conscious breath is part of nearly every approach we use –

Today we opened the second module of the Grof® Legacy Training – Holos at Holos Center.
Participants of the third training cohort are deepening their understanding of bodywork, developing practical skills for facilitating seminars, and learning the art of creating music sets for Grof® Breathwork.

In transpersonal psychology, a crisis is not seen as an illness.
It is a deep inner process in which the old self falls apart, so that something new can be born.

What may feel like a breakdown is often the beginning of a journey toward expanded awareness and greater wholeness. These experiences — sometimes painful, sometimes overwhelming — can open the door to a deeper connection with our inner world and the greater whole of existence.

At Holos, we provide a safe and supportive space for people going through such life transitions. Through psychotherapy, sandplay, Grof® Breathwork, and integrative approaches, we help transform crisis into an opportunity for growth.

Breath, music, meditation, or even a spontaneous experience — each can open our awareness to layers of reality that we do not normally perceive.

In these expanded states of consciousness, we often meet archetypes, myths, and symbols. They appear as teachers of the soul, guiding us to discover our inner depths and reminding us of our connection to the greater whole.

At Holos, we work with these processes through Grof® Breathwork, music therapy, psychotherapy, and sandplay. Each of these methods offers a path to explore the symbolic language of the psyche and to bring new meaning into everyday life.
