ADOPTION PROCESS:
Announcing the Cool Critters adoption procedure! Due to the high volume of adoption requests we receive, we have decided to implement a new adoption procedure to help us find the perfect fit for each and every animal. If you see an animal you are interested in adopting, or would like to be considered for adoption in general, you will need to fill out our adoption application. We will review these applications and choose candidates we feel are best suited to match with the personalities and needs of the animals available for adoption. These candidates will then be invited for a round of meet and greets, after which the final decision on adoption will be made. Being first to fill out an application will not guarantee you will be chosen. You will be considered again when another pup or kitty that seems to be a potential match comes through our doors. He used to be a tough street cat living life in Palmovka, but after a little bump in the road (and a hip surgery), he’s decided the indoor life is where it’s at! Don't let his medical history fool you—he’s bounced back like a champ and moves around with complete ease.

He currently has a small metal plate in his hip, which will be ready to come out in just 3 months.
✨Bonus: His surgical/recovery vet bills are 100% covered! You just provide the love, the cozy spots, and the treats.

Annie has recently discovered TOYS — and apparently she takes toy ownership very seriously.

Give her a squeaky toy and suddenly 60.5 kg of gentle giant becomes Head of Security for Squeaky Assets. 😂 Bella would quite like to participate. Annie would quite like Bella to reconsider.

Same rules apply to food, obviously. 😅

But we still love our stubborn giant. ❤️ And honestly, there’s something a little bittersweet about watching her become so obsessed with toys — this might actually be the first time in her life she’s had toys of her own.

So squeak away, Annie. You’ve got some catching up to do. 🥹

When we were offered parts for rabbit houses by we knew that we could rely on Honza to do something really creative with them.

No, we are not taking rabbits 🐰 🙈

Our tortoise 🐢 friend Fastik is coming to the end of her time that she can be outside 😔 Her home she came with is way to small for her so we asked Honza to make her a new one! And boy, it's so cool 😍 Thank you Honza, you are amazing ❤️

And thank you to for providing shelters with things they can't sell. The parts went to very good use.
