🌍 Co přineslo druhé čtvrtletí roku 2026 v GL Africa?

V Tanzanii osobně navštívil pan Alphonce Logelieck Laizer, místní zástupce GL Africa, několik škol, na kterých studují děti podporované naší organizací. Cílem návštěv bylo setkat se s vedením škol i se samotnými studenty, probrat jejich studijní výsledky a situaci ve škole. Návštěvy dopadly dobře a získali jsme také zajímavé podněty k tomu, co můžeme do příštího roku ještě zlepšit. 📚🇹🇿

V Kamerunu zažily děti ze sirotčince sv. Terezy výjimečný okamžik při přivítání papeže Lva XIV. během jeho cesty po Africe. 🇨🇲🇻🇦 Radost nám udělaly také dvě nové zkušenosti námi podporované studentky Lucy – první byla návštěva kamerunského parlamentu 🏛️ a druhou videohovor s její dlouholetou sponzorkou. 📽 Osobní kontakt prostřednictvím videohovoru byl pro obě strany velmi dojemným okamžikem a ukázal, jak důležité může být propojení sponzorů s dětmi, které dlouhodobě podporují. GL Africa by proto chtěla podobné videohovory postupně umožnit i dalším sponzorům a dětem.

🌍 What did the second quarter of 2026 bring for GL Africa?

In Tanzania, Mr. Alphonce Logelieck Laizer, GL Africa’s local representative, personally visited several schools attended by children supported by our organization. The aim of these visits was to meet with school management and the students themselves, discuss their academic performance, and learn more about their situation at school. The visits went well and also provided us with valuable insights into what we can improve further for the coming year. 📚🇹🇿

In Cameroon, the children from the St. Thérèse Orphanage experienced an exceptional moment as they welcomed Pope Leo XIV during his journey through Africa. 🇨🇲🇻🇦 We were also delighted by two new experiences of Lucy, one of the students we support – the first was a visit to the Cameroonian Parliament 🏛️ and the second was a video call with her long-term sponsor. 📽 The personal contact through the video call was a very touching moment for both of them and showed how meaningful the connection between sponsors and the children they support over the long term can be. GL Africa would therefore like to gradually make similar video calls possible for more sponsors and children.

Výlet do národních parků Tarangire a Lake Manyara

Děti z Holy Childhood Pre & Primary School v Tanzanii zažily letos v únoru svůj první velký studijní výlet do národních parků Tarangire a Lake Manyara – a pro mnohé z nich to byl naprosto nezapomenutelný zážitek. S nadšením objevovaly divokou přírodu, poznávaly zvířata a dokonce se učily rozpoznávat jejich kostry, což pro ně bylo úplně nové a fascinující. Velký dojem na ně udělaly i příběhy spojené s historií jejich země, které jim připomněly důležitost lidskosti, spravedlnosti a odpovědnosti za vlastní činy. Holy Childhood Pre & Primary School navštěvuje také pět dětí ze sirotčince Upendo, které díky podpoře GL Africa mohou být součástí takovýchto zážitků. Děti si z výletu neodnesly jen radost a nové znalosti, ale i hluboké ponaučení o tom, že to, co dáváme druhým, se nám vrací.

Trip to Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks

Children from Holy Childhood Pre & Primary School in Tanzania experienced their first-ever educational trip this February to Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks—an unforgettable adventure for many of them. They enthusiastically explored wildlife, observed animals up close, and even learned to recognize animal bones, which was entirely new and fascinating for them. The stories connected to their country’s history also left a strong impression, reminding them of the importance of humanity, justice, and responsibility for one’s actions. Five children from the Upendo orphanage, supported by GL Africa, attend Holy Childhood Pre & Primary School and were able to be part of this meaningful experience. The trip gave the children not only joy and new knowledge, but also a deep lesson: what we give to others, returns to us.
